The judo club and the wushu club had the same times, thus having to share the gym. They ignored each other, until the end of class, where usually Carala would challenge Takashi.
In the National Mixed Martial arts championship, Carala was third, being beaten by Mitsukuni and Takashi.
No way could she beat Mitsu, but she was determined to at least beat Takashi once.
"Taka! I challenge you!" Carala pointed at him.
Taka just sighed as he went onto the mat with her.
"First one off mat or back or shoulders touch the ground for ten seconds." He said in a monotone voice.
"Bow." Mitsu said.
They both bowed in their own different way. Taka bowed, slightly bending his waist, while Carala's left hand in a palm, her right in a fist, and moved it outwards as a bow
"Begin!" Mitsu shouted.
The moment Carala heard that, she sped forwards, looking as if she was going to punch his face.
He caught her punch and blocked her kick. He had seen her use that move plenty of times.
"Woah! Basa senpai's fast!" You heard people say.
"She's fast, but Mori senpai already knows all her moves. He's gonna win for sure."
The math went on for a while. At the beginning, it was a tie, but as the match got longer, it seemed as if Carala was winning.
Taka had taken a hit to the stomach he hadn't been able to block and stumbled, leaving an opening.
Carala saw the chance and sped forwards. He was near the edge. One good punch and..
The next thing she knew, she was on the floor, her arms held down.
It was a clever trap. He took the kick, recovered quickly and caught her arm mid punch and forced her on the floor.
He usually ended matches like this, since Carala was way shorter, giving her a disadvantage in strength.
"I win. Fifty third win in a row." He said in a monotone voice.
Carala sighed. "Fifty third lose in a row."
They were silent for a few moments.
"Hey Taka." She said.
"What is it?"
"Can you get off? My arms are going numb." She was still on the floor, his hands stopping most of the circulation in her arms.
"Sorry." He got up and gave a hand to her, helping her up.
"Mori senpai, Basa senpai.." A boy in second year from the Judo club started in a scared voice.
"What is it?" Carala asked.
"Ho-Honey senpai has fallen asleep!" He sounded terrified.
"Oh shoot." Carala sighed. "How long was this match?"
"Ten minuets." Taka replied flatly.
"Wow, that's pretty long. Normally, I would be beaten in three minuets." Carala smiled. "Improvement!"
"S-Senpai, can we all please go before you wake him up?" Both clubs looked petrified.
"Sure." Taka bowed, dismissing them.
Carala bowed too, in the other way, dismissing her club.
Both clubs bowed back hastily and literally ran out.
Taka started walking towards Mitsu. "Mitsukuni, wake up." He said, gently tapping him.
Mitsu woke up and his eyes flashed dangerously.
"Mitsu! Usa chan is back in music room three, and wants to eat cake with you!" Carala told him.
That seemed to turn him back to normal. He got up, stretched, and yawned sleepily.
He then climbed onto Taka's back, and Taka, taking Carala's hand, started walking to the music room, taking care that he did not drop Mitsu, since he was supporting him with one hand.
"I won't get lose, y'know." Carala told him.
"Yes. But if I let go, you'll set fire to the school."
"That was an accident at my house!"
"Yes. Yes, it was an accident when you were using matched, and the phone rang, so you dropped the matches on the tablecloth, forgetting they're still on fire."
Carala pouted. "I'm not a kid."
"You're younger than me and Mitsu."
"I'm not stupid!"
"Surprisingly."
Carala sighed as she opened the doors to the music room.
