"Hey Taka!" Carala called from the backyard door. "I made onigri!"
It was early morning, two days after the Sport's Festival. Takashi was outside practicing.
"Thank you, I'll eat it later." Takashi went back to Kendo practice.
"Fine. I'll leave it right here!" Carala plopped the rice balls on a tree stump and went back into the kitchen.
At school, Carala noticed a bush shaking.
She tapped on Takashi's shoulder.
"Oh-kay. Tell me if sweet potatoes are coming out of that bush." Carala said
Takashi looked at her as if she was crazy, then looked out the window. His eyes widened.
A tanuki was shaking some sweet potatoes out of a bush.
"What's that thing doing?" Hikaru walked towards the window.
"This morning, I gave an exhausted tanuki my onigri." Takashi remembered.
"A tanuki indebted to a man!" Tamaki shouted.
"You gave the onigri I made to a wild animal?!" Carala's eyes flashed as she took out a fan and hit Takashi's head hard with it.
