((OH GOD IM SO SORRY ABOUT AUDASEN AND AMYTHEST))

((This is what would have ended if Carala did die and it followed the original plot line.))

Carala's hands shook.

Writing the will. Signing it. She was signing her own death contract.

Looking up, she tried to look for several ways to escape.

There didn't seem a way out except for the huge window.

"Are you done?" The voice that had been so kind to her years before asked.

He looked at the piece of paper.

"Than there's no need for you to be here anymore."

"Carala!" Takashi burst into the room with Mitsukuni.

"Taka!" Carala cried, and suddenly, her body was pushed out the window.

And she fell.

Two stories down.

Unprepared.

"Cara chan!" Mitsukuni ran and jumped out the window after her.

"Why you-" Takashi shouted at his uncle, who shrugged.

"She's gone now." He said calmly.

A wail came from below.

Takashi ran, and jumped out the window, landing on his feet.

A few metres away, Mitsukuni was kneeling beside Carala's body.

"Carala..!" He whispered, breathing a sigh of relief. She seemed only to be unconscious.

But when he walked closer, his eyes widened.

She could have been sleeping. But with her eyes halfway closed and her neck twisted in an extremely awkward position, there was no way.

"I'm sorry Cara chan..I'm sorry!" Mitsukuni cried, his tears flowing down his cheeks.

Takashi was too frozen to move.

He couldn't cry.

He couldn't see.

He couldn't breathe.

He was too numb.

"This is all a nightmare." Takashi muttered to himself. "It's going to end."

But it didn't.

Carala was gone.

And so was Takashi's heart.

twelve years later-----

"Carala Eve Tsubasa?" Evelyn said, reading the tombstone. "Who's that?"

"She was my best friend. And your daddy loved her." Haruhi told her four year old child with a smile.

"Why is she buried in our backyard? Is she why daddy always looks so sad?" Evelyn asked.

"She's here because her ghost will always be with us. She'll always be your friend. And..yes, I guess that's why daddy's always sad." Haruhi said after thinking for a moment.

Evelyn glared at the tombstone and to Haruhi's surprise, kicked it.

"I don't like her." Evelyn pouted.

"Don't say that!" Haruhi knelt beside her daughter.

"You know, Carala made your daddy very happy, and she was my best friend, because she was nice to everybody. You were named after her too. Her middle name, Eve, turned into Evelyn." Haruhi told her.

Evelyn thought for a moment, then slightly bowed to the tombstone with an embarrassed look.

"Sorry..thank you for making daddy happy, and taking care of mommy.." Evelyn said, and Haruhi smiled.

"Let's go inside. Daddy can tell you about Carala."

Carala watched as they walked away and smiled gently to herself.

Evelyn..what an adorable little girl. Extremely smart too. Only four and in senior kindergarten, going to grade one next fall.

Takashi..today your child finally met me.
