Summer's POV
Landing in Mexico was interesting. June, poor thing, had another panic attack as we landed. I'm surprised she travels so much Javier with her panic attacks. Javier stays calm and knows just how to help June. He holds her tightly and whispers soothing words in Spanish to the shaking crying girl.
I love listening to his Spanish. Javier's accent gives me chills and I love hearing it. We touch down, and Javier continues soothing June. She wipes her tears away with the sleeve of the hoodie Neymar gave her. She sits up and takes a few shaky breaths as Javier rubs her arm. I smile sympathetically at her, and she leans into the back of her seat, with her eyes closed.
"Not fun," she mumbles.
"It's not as bad as it used to be though, Javier smiles kissing June's forehead. "Do you want some water or something?"
"I think I'm okay. Thank you though, Chicha. I love you," she takes deep breaths.
"I love you too, me amor," Javier gives her a tight hug. "Are you ready?"
"Not really to be completely honest. I'm nervous to see Ma again. I wish Neymar could've come with us," she mumbles.
"I know you are, but it's been a while. And I know you do, but Neymar needs to go to Brazil," Javier tells her.
"Maybe I should've gone with him," June frets rubbing her face with her sleeve.
"No. You needed to come. Dad and Ciara, mostly Ciara but Dad too, would've had a fit if you didn't come home. They haven't seen you since their wedding," Javier reasons with June as we pull forward.
"Yeah well I'm a legal adult now and I am taking care of my studies back in England."
I grab my carry- on out from under the chair in front of me. The light flashes signifying we can unbuckle our seat belts. I take my purse out of the overhead compartment and hand June and Javier theirs. They thank me, and I start walking out of the plane.
I hear a squeal behind me and see June fall down. Javier shakes his head, and I walk over to them. June shakes her head grimacing as she tries to stand up, and Javier frowns. He picks her up bridal style, and I grab her back pack.
"What was that?" I ask her.
"Are you okay, June?" Javier questions as she means into his chest.
"No clue. My knee kinda buckled and then I felt a pop in my hip," June explains.
"Neither of those sound good. You should go see a doctor," I suggest.
"Maybe. I'll give it a day or two. I'm always falling apart like this," she giggles.
As we walk through the air port, paparazzi snap countless pictures and ask us questions. They want to know how Chicha is feeling after a long vacation in Barcelona and the relationship between June and Neymar. The paps also want to know about his relationship with me; how we met, when we got together, and plans for the future. They want to know who June is rooting for- Brasil, Mexico, United States, or England and more about her quote "complicated love life" with Neymar, Marc, and Luke. They ask me about my brother; who I'm rooting for; my relationship with Chicha, June, Neymar, and my best friend Marc. As I open my mouth to answer, June grabs my arm and pulls me towards she and Javier.
"Don't say anything here. If we're going to talk, we'll do an interview, talk show, or press conference," she whispers.
"June's right. We don't say anything," Javier agrees and I nod.
"Okay."
We are continually bombarded with questions from them as we head through the airport to baggage claim. June, I'm not sure if she's sick or something, but she ends up falling back asleep. Javier shakes his head as her grip becomes looser and adjusts to hold her tighter. I smile and take a quick pic of him while he sticks his tongue out at me. We arrive at baggage when I hear a female voice call.
