Part Two: Chapter Twenty Five- Making it Work

June's POV

I bite my lip as I look around the airport. Neymar is picking me up along with Geri and Leo. Paps swarm taking pics as I use my hand to help block the flashes of the cameras that are still able to make it through my sunglasses. I immediately spot Geri towering over everyone. I smile and wave as I walk over to them. I am slightly unsure and nervous about seeing Neymar again which sucks because he is my husband, and I love him a lot. Neymar smiles when he sees me and comes over to greet me.

"Hey, baby," he smiles hugging me tightly.

"Hey," I smile back at him and hug him back.

It feels good to be back in his arms. I have really missed him no matter how upset with him I am. He squeezes me tightly against him and slightly lifts me up. I burry my face in the crook of his neck and wrap my legs around his. He rubs my back in circular patterns before he sets me down and kisses my forehead.

"I love you, June," he kisses my cheek.

"I love you too," I smile kissing his jaw.

"I wanna take you out to a really nice dinner tonight, okay?" Neymar asks cupping my cheeks.

"Okay," I nod with a smile.

"Good," he grins, "and these are for you," he hands me a beautiful bouquet of roses.

"Thank you," I grin widely kissing him sweetly.

He grins and walks me back to where Geri is waiting. I give Geri a warm hug and smile widely at him. The three of us then head to where Leo is waiting for us. I'm excited to be back in Barcelona. Lauryn is due to have baby Gala any day now. I couldn't be more excited for them. Of course it kinda sucks that everyone is having babies since Neymar and I lost Azalyn, but I'm happy to be an aunt. I'll be a mother when the time is right.

"June!"

"Leo!" I smile as I run over to hug my friend.

"Congrats on your summer! Nice to have you back here however," he grins kissing my cheek.

"I missed you! How is Thiago?"

"He's good. He misses his Tia June," he says putting my bags in the trunk.

"Aw," I laugh, "I'll stop by and see him tomorrow," I say.

"Perfect."

I get into the car and smile as I lean against Neymar. He kisses my cheek lovingly. He smiles and takes my hand in his as we cuddle on the way back to our mansion. I look out the window and smile as I see the familiar sights. The four of us talk about the upcoming season. It's going to be great. I'm ready to be back with my team and win more and more and more. I love winning. All of us do. That's why we all play for Barcelona.

When we pull up at the mansion, I'm already falling asleep. I am feeling pretty jet lagged after traveling back here from the States. I cuddle into Neymar's arms not really wanting to walk. He seems to understand and carries me inside with Geri trailing behind with my suitcase. Neymar lays me down before going to talk a little more with Geri and Leo in the corridor.

I get all snuggled up with Poker and doze off It's not long until I feel the bed move slightly letting me know that Neymar has joined me. I turn over and smile at him. He's so handsome. I've really missed him. No matter how sad I am about him not coming to Canada, I still love him with all my heart. He kisses my cheek and tugs me closer into his chest.

"I missed you so much," Neymar says quietly.

"I've missed you a lot too, Neymar," I mumble kissing his jaw.
