When did you first become a fan?

I first became a fan about two and a half years ago when I started dating my then boyfriend because he played soccer. I learned the game by going to all his games and talking to my friend Jailene who knows everything about the game. I started watching the Premier League because for me, their games are the easiest to find. While hanging out with Jailene, I developed my sense of what teams I liked and disliked. My prefs align mostly with Jailene TBH over my boyfriend and his soccer team. I got a lot of shit for liking FC Barcelona because 90% of them are Madristas, but I knew how to deal with them. 💁🏻 That's also when I got into national soccer. As a proud American, I obviously support the US teams. The women more so because I'm a feminist.

Favourite footballers?

My favourites are Luke Shaw, Adnan Januzaj, James Wilson, Messi, Neymar, David Beckham and basically his whole family, Grandpa Giggs, Abby Wambach, Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd who just slays, Chicharito, David de Gea, and Morgan Schneiderlin.

I'm not giving an explanation for all of them, but I will say this. I noticed that not many people include women in this list. I will because let's get real: the USWNT is 100x better than the USMNT. Hello, they won the WWC, and President Obama said it best, "playing like a girl means being a bad ass."

Also, Luke Shaw is my baby, and I'm still so mad that he got his leg broken! My heart literally bleeds in pain. I legit almost threw up when I watched Morono tackle him. Yes I'm fully aware it's Moreno, but Zach is a bad influence on me. His nickname that makes me laugh hysterically. Lol bless you, Zach! 🙌🏻 I really really want him to be able to play the end of the season and then in the Euros, because he really is an amazing player, and he was having a fantastic run before the game v PSV. Lol fûck PSV; mainly Moreno because he took out two players in two weeks. Bravo man. That's impressive. But knock it the fûck off. MANERS PEOPLE! Coming from the girl who laughs when Barcelona and Madrid fight during Clasicos.

Favourite manager?

Sir Alex. No explanation needed.

Favourite clubs?

Manchester United because they are the best team in England and have such a rich trophy laden history. The fans support them no matter what.

Barcelona. They slay at life. Best team in the world right now. Reasoning: El Clasico is a perfect example. 4-0 at Santiago Bernabeu. Lol what's good Madrid? *I greet you Madrid fans with 4 fingers up*

Those are my two absolute favourites though I follow other teams as well. Mainly so I know what's up with my friends teams, so I can trash talk them and sound smart while doing so.

Favourite national teams: why?

Brazil MNT, USMNT, EMNT are all great but my absolute favourite national team would have to be the US Women's NT.

Brazil: They are such an entertaining group of players to watch. It's really amazing. It's full of tricks and flashy moves--@/Neymar. I love Neymar, obviously, but I do have some criticisms when it comes to Brazil. I don't think he's the right captain. He is their best player for sure, but he's not captain material at the time being. He's more likely to start or join in in a fight than breaking it up. He's everything Thiago Silva isn't. But I still love him. Neymar is bae.
