24- I Love You...

(AGAIN! I don't own any rights on the lyrics I used in this chapter! Enjoy :)

I don't think time heals.... it just makes you forget, but honestly what's the difference?

Its so crazy how time passes by too, its been almost a year since everything and Lincoln is going on his second world tour, Niall and Nova's wedding is in a week and the boys... I haven't had much contact with them since they moved back to Australia a couple of weeks after my incident with Austin.

Speaking of Austin, he's serving ten years in prison.. I try not to worry too much about the day he'll be released, but that's further into the future. Harry says he won't get near me, I believe him.

Looking up from my book I see harry walking into our home, its September seventeenth, my birthday. Its weird how a year ago I had all the people I love in the world in one room... now they're scattered across the world.

"You're awake love" he states walking in with flowers, "I wanted to surprise you before you got up" he uttered bringing flowers from behind his back, a frown on his face.

Smiling up at him I take his hand pulling him close to me, "Looks like I beat ya."

"I have a little something for you" he says pulling out a small black rectangular box from his coat jacket.

Biting my lip I take it in my hands, "Harry I told you not to get m-"

"Open it Zar" he urged as I chuckled.

"Fine."

Opening the box I gasp a beautiful diamond necklace in it, looking up at him I stare in shock.

"Harry-"

"Well?"

"I love it" I say attacking him in a hug, kissing his lips he melts into it, before it got too heated my phone rang interrupting us.

"Hi Nova" I answer for the hundredth time, she's the one that woke me up this morning.

"Z turn on your television to E News... now!" she instructs as I look at Harry giving him a confused look.

"It's Nov" I say as he nods his head, understanding.

"Did you turn it on?"

"Hold on give me a sec" I say reaching for the remote, flipping to the channel I watch as the host comes into view. Turning up, I listen.

"We're back ladies and gentlemen and here we have Aussie's newest star Jai Brooks, with his new song 'Summer Time of Our Lives' here's a sneak peak of his new music video..."

Sitting there shocked my mouth hangs open, Jai as a musician? He gave up that dream years ago.

The screen went black and then Jai popped up, guitar in his had somewhere on the beach... the beach we grew up on in Australia.

Wherever you are, no matter how far

I promise that I won't give up on you

"Is that Brooks?" Harry asked next to me.

Unable to say anything I just nod my head and continue listening.

Even if there is an ocean

Keeping your heart from mine

That doesn't mean I'm not thinking

About you all the time

God he cannot be talking about me...

"Look at the girl!" Nova shouts into the phone, there on the screen a girl in a yellow sundress came out... Jai's love interest.

"Why the hell does she look exactly like you?!" Harry questioned beside me, biting my lip I sit there listening, of course Jai would pull this.

'Cause I'm in love with you

I'm still in love with you

"I'm going to kill Brooks" he utters beside me, feeling him tense up I couldn't help put grab his hand, assuring him he still had me.

Even though, we had to say goodbye

I know when the water gets warm

You'll come back to me

The music video ended and the host and Jai came back into view.

"Lucky lady, she must be to have such a beautiful song written about her" the host says into her microphone.

"Yeah, I've known her since she was young, its actually her birthday tod-"

Turning off the television I tell Nova I have to go and hang up. Turning my attention on Harry I sigh.

"That didn't mean anything to me Harry."

"He wrote you a song... for your birthday" he uttered shaking his head.

"Yeah, but I don-"

"Which one did you like better?"

"What?"

"Remember the game you played with your friends on your birthday? Which gift did you like better? Mine or his?"

"I'm sorry he did that, he shouldn't have done that. It was just a stupid stunt to get your attention because he knows that he can't get mine. He's just trying to get under your skin... besides Harry, I love you."

He looks at me, the same look he gave me the night he met me... I can see his love for me, he smiles and tells me he loves me.

Well that's it! Sequel?? I don't know let me know what you think! I sort of rushed it all especially at the end, I leave for college tomorrow and I know for a fact I would not finish it, but THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STICKING WITH THIS AND READING IT ! LOL I love you xxx
