Groaning, I walked to my school as though they were said to kill me during first.

I don't hate school, it's just boring as hell!

Besides the obvious, there's so much drama and gossip; girls wanting to be laid by any hot looking male walking, boys rough housing and acting like a horny ass dog in heat when a hot chick wants the guy's number! Honestly, school just plays with my nerves.

Walking through the oak, double doors, the hallway was filled with useless chatter.

The girls were fanning over some new "hot" guy while the boys were talking about how a "hag" got fired for drugging a student. It all was useless to me. Plus, I bet most of it were just rumors.

I simply went to my locker and quickly grabbed the stupid books that I might need. Pfft, as if!

Sulking a bit, I marched to my Math class. The only thing good about that class is I'm ahead of it. Of course, I make sure to keep my grades just at passing, barely making it, but my teacher doesn't seem to mind.

Walking into class, Mrs. Harris was a blushing, stumbling mess!

Normally, I'd leave it alone, but Mrs. Harris isn't one to be a klutz nor blush like this! She's a hardcore military brat, that only has a soft spot for her husband! And sometimes me.

Raising an eyebrow, I gave a hard cough. Her dark, brown eyes snapped to me and all the craziness inside them vanished.

"Sorry, dear. Just take a seat." Her polite voice floated through the air, silencing all other sounds.

Blankly, I nodded, taking my seat in the far back. It was the best place for me to be if I didn't want the girls to be staring at my back like a hawk.

It didn't take long for the first bell to ring, nor for everyone to find their seats.

"Alright, today we're going ot learn-"

I laid my head down as the woman droned on and on about something unimportant. It was something that I already knew, too, so what was the harm of taking a nap?

Closing my eyes, I passed out.

The sound of the bell woke me as a few murmurs walked around, telling me that I had missed the first bell.

Grumbling to myself, I simply stood up and started to walk.

"Third Period, dearie." Mrs. Harris smiled kindly at me as the class behind me held their breathes.

"Yeah, whatever."

My voice was gravelly and rough from sleeping, though I guess a few of the girls liked it as I heard one or two sighs of contentment from 'em.

Within a few minutes, I simply marched into my English class, the class that I hated the most!

"Why are you late?" Snapped the old hag.

"Just be glad that I'm here, Ms. Powell. Got a date for Friday, though?"

From the harsh gasp, I knew that I had hit a never. That witch couldn't keep a guy pass the first hour.

Just when I was about to sit down, a deep chuckle sounded from the front of the room.

Lifting my head up, I saw a rather good looking guy.

He had burning hazel green eyes with a small stubble of a beard, giving him a rogue look. His hair was cut to a short length, it being a raven feather color. Even though the guy was young looking(like his late teens), I had a feeling he was in his mid-twenties , from the aged look in his eyes.

"Well, now I see what all the girls were talking about." I bluntly stated, a second after my eyes had sized him up.

I took my seat as the man laughed again, his hazel green eyes sparkling.

"You must be Jax. I had heard a lot about you from the other teachers." The guy held this irritating smirk, his eyes roaming my body.

Without warning, my eyes narrowed and my lips pulled into a sneer as a growl left my throat.

About all the girls swooned, the boys flinched and Ms. Powell backed away with wide eyes of fear.

"You heard nothing." I hissed, my already loose temper from sleep, growing even more wary.

"I've heard you would do something like this, though that growling is rather adorable. Bet you could make a pup fear you."

I took a soft breath, my anger dwindling into nothing. That doesn't mean it won't come back though.

"Yeah, woke up a few minutes ago." My voice lost its momentum and became gravely again, slightly deeper too.

A girl nearby gave a soft sigh, muttering something under her breath.

Whatever it was, the new teacher's eyes darkened with anger, shifting to a more green color.

"A-Anyway..." My teacher cleared her throat, her brown eyes zooming around the room in a frightened way. "Let's continue the introductions!"

Then, I ignored everyone. I knew all of them and their stupid tricks, plus their dirty little secrets.

Half the girls here pretended to be rich, but in truth they work their butts off everyday. Then a fourth of the other girls live with abusive parents, whether it'll be physical, mental, emotional, or even plain out being neglectful. Then there's the handful of jocks who have to go home to fathers and mothers that don't give a damn about them or just go to an empty apartment that they could barely afford.

"Jaxon Ketki?"

I raised my head from the table, my tiredness slowly dissipating.

"What?"

The new guy gazed down at me, a smirk in those deadly eyes.

"Are you going to introduce yourself?"

Fro a moment I stayed silent, then I simply shrugged.

"Sure. Names Jaxon Ketki. I'm the younger brother of my family as my sister is off the face of the world. I like to do whatever the hell I want." I gave a loud yawn, stretching back with ease.

"Anything else?" The man chuckled at me, his eyes gleaming with something.

"Nah, what about you, Mister Hot stuff?"

The man only smiled and nodded.

"Since that's everyone, I might as well introduce myself. My name is Ashton Bowen David. I'm a CEO of a few companies and as a side job, I like going around the county to teach schools English. I will advice all of you to know that I can be a bad wolf if you push me. So-"

"Then the ladies must love you in bed."

All eyes turned to me as Ms. Powell gave a spluttering gasp. Her dirty eyes were wide with shock and anger.

"Jaxon!" She cried out.

The only thing I did was smirk, seeing the equally unamused expression of Ashton.

"Please refrain from those types of out bursts, Mr. Ketki. I don't wish to let a student fail."

His intense eyes didn't leave mine for a moment, a moment where my instinct was to back done. That instinct hasn't been there for years! Not since I was nine!

"Sure, sure. Whatever you say, Alpha."

Almost instantly, Mr. David relaxed, his expression staying stern, just for a moment longer.

"Good. Now, I'll be your teacher for the rest of the year. I really hope we all can get along before then with little fuss."

Silently, I scoffed at the last sentence. Like I was going to make it easier for him.
