I went back to my pack, my head just filled with questions. Thoughts pulled and swirled around my skull.

Why was I like this and Crystal wasn't? Why was she different than me? Were we even related?

I groaned a bit to myself, rubbing my head. It all hurt... It was just too much.

"Jaxon?" A rough voice called out.

I looked over to Ace, who had untangled himself.

He had no shirt on and a couple of new scratches on his chest. The scratches weren't that deep, so they wouldn't scar over.

I frowned though. Did I do that?

Ace placed his hand on my shoulder, worry in his coal eyes.

"What's wrong? You seem distracted." He murmured.

I sighed heavily, tensing some as I remembered what I saw in the water... The monster that was there.

"Do..." I stopped, looking up in his eyes. They were concerned, worried, wanting me to ask the question that I started. "Do you know what happens when we all black out?" I whispered, my voice meek and soft.

A wince formed on his face, guilt forming in his eyes.

"No." His voice fell, the guilt in his eyes darkening.

I bowed my head, scared. He wasn't lying, but what if he, the others... What if they were like me? What if Mom brought us together because she knew?

I scrunched my eyes close, my breathing growing labored. Gently, I felt myself being pulled into a hard chest.

"You know, don't you?" His voice was hurt and worried.

I nodded to his question, shaking some.

"I-I..." I started to shake my head. "I can't..." My voice cracked, it was getting harder to breathe.

Ace hushed me softly, rocking us side to side. Slowly, he brought us down to sit. My body was close to his, so he held me in his lap.

"It's alright, Jax... We'll get through it... We'll learn from it..." He whispered in my ear.

I took a deep breath, nodding softly as I tried to calm myself. Once I was able to control myself, I got out of his lap.

I stood up and looked back at my Pack, watching Steel and Viper sleep happily. I then looked down at Ace.

He was watching me carefully, worry deep within his eyes.

"I'm going to talk with Ashton." I muttered, glancing down. "He might be able to clear somethings up..."

The big guy nodded, standing up.

"I'll watch the others and have them ready before you get back." His voice was soft but stern.

I looked up at him and nodded. If anything went wrong, I want us to be able to high tail it.

After grabbing a clean shirt and jacket, I went back to the Manor.

Everyone there stared at me, backing away from me. I didn't need to look at them to tell they were scared of me, I could almost smell their fear.

I kept my head high and my back straight. I wasn't here for them, I was here to talk with Ashton. He had to know what I was, what my Pack was.

Getting to his office was easy, everyone avoided me, barely looked at me too.

I knocked roughly on the door, waiting out there patiently... Or as patiently as I could.

I didn't have to wait long, the door to his office opened almost instantly.

The hazel eyed man stared down at me with wide eyes. He then gave a soft, almost hopeful smile.

"You came back."

I shivered slightly at his words. They were sincere and happy...  He looked relieved that I was back, his body tensing and his arms softly twitching. He probably wanted to hug me, or ruffle my hair.

Yet, I stepped back, narrowing my eyes on him.

"I want to ask you a question." I muttered roughly.

The happy glow in his eyes faded as he frowned. He knew what I wanted to ask, or at the very least thinks he knows what I wanted.

"Ashton." A bored voice called out.

The voice made me sneer slightly. It was was Ashton's father. I really didn't like the guy.

My eyes met his with a glare, but he was glaring right back.

"Yes, Father?" Hot stuff's voice was strained.

"You shouldn't answer to it." He said simply.

My eyes narrowed more. If he was referring to me, then he had a death wish.

Gently, a hand was placed on the small of my back. Oddly, it was calming.

"Father, please refrain from calling Jaxon an it. He's a person after all."

A scoff fell from the old man, he rolling his eyes.

"His kind are nothing but hungry, angry savages that can't even shift properly. Hybrids aren't people, they're-"

"Watch it." I suddenly hissed, my body lurching forward.

Anger surged forward, my breathing coming out heavy. The old man growled at me, his eyes shifting to bright amber ones.

"Don't challenge me, boy."

I snarled at him, a darkness creeping at the edges of my eyes.

"Don't tell me what to do, you fucking prick!" I shouted. "You clearly know what I am, so what did we hybrids do to you? Why are you so scared of us?" I sneered.

I honestly didn't know why I said any of that, but the words were out before I could stop them.

The old man bared his teeth at me threateningly.

"You Hybrids are worthless, nothing more than extra muscle for us real werewolves to use!" He cried out.

My anger vanished as though I was splashed with cold water. My eyes were wide as I stared at the man before me.

"You're worse than my bastard of a father..." I muttered before I ran.

My name was shouted at, but I just ran. Many of the others tried to grab, tried to catch me, but I dodged them and ran. I had to leave... Me and my pack had to leave.

Suddenly, I stopped, my hands closing into fists.

All those other Hybrids... They were being abused and probably treated worse than animals...

A growl left my lips.

We will help them, and then we'll make those bastards pay.
