After my breakfast, an actual breakfast since Cry wouldn't let me just eat the damn sandwich meats by themselves, I went to the 'classroom' section of the manion.
I swear, Hot-Stuff has way too much money.
I pushed open a door to a random room, which surprisingly had my pack and Mrs. Harris in it.
"Jax!" The old woman shouted, smiling broadly. "I was wondering if you were joining us."
Vipes gave a short cheer, rushing to me. She easily flipped over me and then pounced onto my back. Don't ask me how she can do the flipping thing and then jump on me, she's just fast and flexible... Which is why I prefer not to fight her.
"Sorry, I wanted breakfast." My voice came out a little snappy, which I didn't really mean to come out.
Thankfully, the old crone waved it off.
"Take it AJ was trying to flirt with Oli again?"
I rose an eyebrow at that. She knew about it?
"How'd you know about that?"
The woman chuckled, basically rolling her eyes.
"I know Ashton's Father. He was a good friend of my father's." She shrugged softly. "Besides, your expression says your tempted to rip someone to shreds."
I lightly smiled, chuckling. Of course she would keep in contact with one of her Father's friends and know what I'm feeling. She knows my expressions a little too well.
I lightly shrugged my shoulders back, silently telling Vipes to get off my back. She did with a soft whine, but thankfully nothing else.
Finally, I sat down at a desk a little close to the old woman, Viper going to her own seat.
Then Mrs. Harris began a Math lesson... Oddly, it was one she didn't teach, Pre-Calc.
It was odd, but I paid some attention to it since I was still learning that. The others, though, were having a bit of trouble understanding it or even being interested. They all looked ready to either fall asleep or throw a chair... And know them, it could be either.
Guess I was going to help Mrs. Harris with teaching them...
