Nearly a month passed and I got better. Mr. David explained to the school that I had gotten trapped in some old animal trap and hurt myself on his estate, so he was temorplarily taking care of me, till I got better. The only thing I hated about all of it, was the fact I still had homework to deal with, which lets be honest, wasn't fun.

I sighed as I carefully stood up. I wasn't back to full health, so I still couldn't go outside the Manor, but I was at least well enough to get outside the room... The room that was slowly driving me crazy!

I lightly stumbled around the halls, the large daunting halls.

I swear, the house could be a maze of some sorts...

I soon came to some sort of stairs that lead down, so nautraully I followed them.

Down the stairs was an exteremly large living room, big enough to seat at least ten different families of four or five.

Looking to the right, there was a long hall towards these double doors. From how the sunlight was shining through, I could tell that was the door to outside.

Looking the other way, there was a bigger hall that broke off into a few other halls with the end of hall one being brightly lit by something. There was noise coming from that end as well.

Like a dumb girl in a horror movie, I went to the noise.

I trusted that Ashton didn't have any bad company over. The worst that I knew of would've been the guy who beaten me near death's door. So, yeah, I doubt he'd have any worse company over.

Quickly, I entered a brightly lit dining room like kitchen.

It was huge. The floor had black and white tiles in a beautiful design of moons and stars. The countertops were this black marble looking thing with white wood cabinets. The kitchen was also wide, holding a long table that could seat up to eight or ten people. There even was an island in the kitchen with these large windows, they being the main reasoning for the bright light.

"Well, well, if it isn't the runt." A ruff voice that I knew well spoke up.

I looked down at the southern bastard.

Sadly, he wasn't alone. There were a few other people in the kitchen that I hadn't noticed.

There were three other guys and two other girls. One of these girls, wasn't facing me, simply talking to some blond haired guy. Her hair color and style looked familiar though...

I focused my attention back onto the bastard.

"If I'm a runt, then what does that make you, mutt?" I rose an eyebrow at him as I casually leaned against the kitchen doorway, as if I was used to being inside the house.

The woman who had her back turned to me stiffened. I didn't care, not when the bitch started growling at me.

It was deep, but I wasn't afraid of him.

"Cute, did you practice that to get a bitch in bed with you?" I snickered at him, smirking as his eyes flared with rage. "Quiet pathetic really," My smirked twisted into a malicious smile. "little pup."

Now that got him riled up!

He stood up quickly, taking a broad step towards me, but the girl who had her back towards me had stopped him, shoving him back into his seat.

"Stay away from him." She growled.

Her voice... It sounded familiar. So familiar...

"Cry?"

The light brunette turned around to me, her dark blue eyes peering into my bright ones.

"Harley?"

I felt my body relax, my confused frown turning up into a peaceful smile.

"Hi, Sis."
