After going back to the house and getting cleaned up, we headed over to the city's new bar.
Now, because it was new, it had a lot of hype. Meaning the bouncers didn't even notice four teenagers walking in, plus they don't card people. Usually.
Even with it being early in the evening, the place was packed!
There hardly was any seats left for me and my friends! Actually, it didn't matter, we all were up and dancing.
The music wasn't that bad, rather good on the ears actually.
Viper was really showing off her flexible body as Steel was dancing with Ace, being too shy to find a partner like our crazy scorpion was.
I was dancing to the music, occasionally dancing with someone else.
A tray passed by me, filled with martinis. Of course, I grabbed one and jugged it.
"Jaxon?" A voice blurred.
I looked behind me, vaguely seeing someone familiar...
"Heey... You look familiar..." I giggled, wrapping my arms around the guy's neck. "Have I seen you from somewhere?" I only smiled, looking into his enchanting hazel-green eyes.
"How many drinks have you had?" His hands were laid on my hips, pulling me to him.
"Um... Ten, I think..." I murmured, the alcohol making me feel a bit drowsy.
"God... I'm taking you home." The man growled.
I flinched, pulling away from him, a whimper falling from my lips.
"Please don't hurt me..."
My voice was no louder than a whisper, but I knew he heard me... I just knew he did.
"Hey, hey... I'm sorry... I'm not mad, just tell me where I can drop you off." His hands moved to cupping my cheeks.
Hazily, I looked back to my friends.
Steel and Ace were talking to a woman and a young looking man as Viper was flirting with a dark haired woman.
"But... My friends." I quietly whined, turning back to him. His beautiful eyes looked over to them easily.
"Don't worry, they'll be coming with us."
I nodded, the room swimming before my eyes. The man picked me up as though I was a baby, but I didn't mind, he smelled nice. Kind of like the forest with a hint of vanilla... A nice smell...
Slowly, my vision slipped away as I mumbled the address of my home. Then nothing but warmth and safety.
