"How's your tutoring going?" The green-hazel eyed man asked, it being slightly muffled by the meaty sandwich he was eating.

I shrugged, chewing my own meaty sandwich before answering.

"Okay."

Ashton made a sound that made me glance at him.

He seemed to be thinking, his eyes a bit faded.

"Thinkin' of somethin'?" I asked, taking another bite of my sandwich.

"Yeah..." His voice was a bit quiet, but... That's what worried me.

"This isn't about Alpha Terrance, is it?" I asked, mocking the name the bastard gave me.

Suddenly, the room went dark. Not like the lights in the room went out, dark... But there wasn't a friendly feeling in the room anymore...

I looked to Ashton. His eyes were pure emeralds, a snarl on his face as his sandwich had been roughly dropped on the plastic tray.

"Terrance was here?" It didn't really sound like a question...

I winced a bit, putting my own sandwich on its tray.

"Y-Yeah." I paused for a second, not really liking how my voice cracked. "Nearly a week ago..."

The green in his eyes only seemed to deepened with rage. He opened his mouth, which seemed to be set in a downward curve, when there was a loud banging on the front door.

His mouth closed, forming a rough, rage filled, scowl... His eyes could've made Hell freeze over with how much cold anger was behind them.

He stood up and marched out of his office as though he was ready to actually kill someone!

I don't know what possessed me to follow him, but I basically scrambled to my feet and jogged to keep up with him.

He reached the door quickly, with his sister, Rowan and Oliver waiting for him. Even my friends were there... But my friends looked confused, while the others... They looked very annoyed and angry...

I stood back a bit, my gut twisting in so many bad ways...

Ashton almost ripped the door off its hinges from how hard he pulled on it. Surprisingly, Terrance was waiting there with the same three other people.

I furrowed my brows as the hall grew tense and heavy. Then Ashton actually punched the guy!

Terrance didn't fall, but stumbled back. I couldn't see what look he was giving Ash, but I knew it wasn't a very pleasant one...

"Always quick to anger." Terrance held a mocking tone. I didn't like that tone.

A deep growl came from Ashton that just set off warnings in my head... I didn't like that growl... It was much different from any other growl he made... Much more untamed, more crazed and dangerous.

I carefully walked forward, none of the others trying to stop me... Only my friends who tried to follow me.

Then the two of them were of the porch, throw punch after punch, growling loudly and angrily... Till... They were no longer humans.

I felt my breath catch in my throat as I watch the two literally transform into huge ass wolves! Much, much bigger than any normal wolf!

Terrance had shifted into a large version of an Indian Wolf... But he seemed much fuller and more aggressive than the actual breed.

Ashton on the other hand, was a giant, pure black wolf... Almost like the one that I met in the alley several months ago... If the size difference didn't say otherwise.

The two growled at each other, bearing their sharp teeth. Then... They backed off.

The three that had joined Terrance glared at me and the others behind me, then they left with their 'Alpha' running away... Still in the form of a wolf.

Ashton growled once more before he somehow became human again...

His once short hair now fell to his waist in long, shaggy waves. His eyes were still that sharp, cold green, still filled with anger.

"Get ready. We're going to war." He growled in deep, guttural voice.
