I leaned against the side of the building, taking a deep breath of chilled air.
Fall was finally coming around, so the wolf population has been at an all time high, most likely due to the fact the wolves are needing to catch more food.
It didn't matter, the animals have more humanity than actual humans in most cases. They hunt for food, not sport. And they only hunt for what they need, not want.
As the third period bell rang, I was already making my way back inside.
The halls were instantly crowded with chatter and smells of cheap perfume.
It was amazing how, even as everyone was distracted, they stilled managed to get out of my way! Guess, they really didn't want to see me angry.
Once I was done with my locker, I walked over to my English class. I still hated the teacher, but I guess it's not all bad... He does make interesting assignments.
By the time I got there, everyone was settled. So, I wasn't completely surprised to see some new kid sitting in my seat. They probably thought that the seat wasn't claimed.
So, I merely walked up to the punk and easily picked him up, sitting him in another empty seat off to the side of mine and sat down.
He instantly jumped up and started bitching. Shouting something I honestly didn't care about. His buddies were glaring hotly at me, as if they could actually intimidate me.
"Landon! You know that I don't tolerate that language! Sit down!" A booming voice hollered over everyone.
My body tensed, my palms became sweaty and fear spiked my gut at the sound. I hated it when someone yelled...
My blue eyes instantly whipped around for the source of the loud noise. They landed on the dark hazel-green eyes of my teacher.
His stern eyes glanced into mine, before going back to Landon.
The pup went to say something, but immediately stopped and sat in the seat that I had placed him in.
Mr. David took a deep breath before he went to start the lesson.
I laid my head down, my body heavy as stone, but of course I was used to it.
