Chapter 19:

Andy's Point of View:

"There's not really anything I can do now," I heard my aunt say as she spoke to my mom over the phone. "It's just getting out of hand. Connor's becoming more aggressive towards him and I can't risk him here if I'm not."

I just watched my aunt as she listened to what was being said from the other end of the line.

"Yes, I told him. I thought he would've told you about this? He said he was going to."

I just looked back down at my drawing, continuing on with it. I was just glad I was kinda able to continue with drawing and writing, even though my hand was still technically broken. It still hurt when I did too much writing or drawing, but I wasn't just gonna sit around and do nothing all day.

"I'm going to have to send him back there with you," she said, glancing over at me as I continued to draw. "I just don't know what I can do about him now. I can't have them in the same house for long before something happens."

She paused again, clearly listening to whatever was being said.

"Ok, I'll let him know. I'm sorry about this. Thanks anyway."

I looked up as she hung up and turned to look at me.

"Everything ok?" I asked.

She gave a nod and sighed.

"Your mom and I decided we're going to send you home in about a week," she began. I just looked down, not really sure what to say. "Look Andy, I'd love for you to stay here, but we can't have anything else happening between you and Connor. Your parents know about everything that's been going on, and they think it'll be better for you back home."

I just gave a nod and didn't say anything. My aunt looked at me for a bit longer.

"I'm sorry Andy," she said, and I could tell she actually felt bad about having to send me back home.

She walked into the living room and out of sight. I gave a sigh and picked up my phone, deciding I needed to call Juliet. I dialled and waited.

"Hey Andy. Everything ok?"

"Hey. Yeah, everything's fine," I said in response as she answered. "Does something have to be wrong for me to call?"

I heard her laugh, and it made me smile at hearing her.

"No. I just don't usually get called when everything's ok," she said with another laugh.

"Fair enough," I said. "But really, got something I need to tell you. Think you can keep a secret and not tell any of the others?"

"Depends what I've gotta keep a secret. The others might need to know."

"Well I don't want any of 'em to know yet," I said back. "So? You gonna keep a secret? I'm only gonna tell you."

"Alright," she said with a sigh. "Guess I can keep a secret. So what is it?"

"Well now I dunno if I should tell you," I said with a bit of a smile, though I knew she couldn't see it. "How do I know you're not gonna tell?"

"You know I keep my word Andy."

I sighed. "Yeah, I know."

"So what's on your mind?" Juliet asked, clearly wanting to know what I hadn't told her yet.

"Well," I began. "Y'know how there's been the whole problem with me and Connor?"

"How's that going anyway?"
