**Luca's Pov.**

I looked around curiously before looking back to Chrys and the others who were unloading the car and van.
Tilting my head slight, my eyes fell to a trail.
Now I was really curious, and seeming that Chrys was about to be my guardian.
I guess I would need to ask to adventure places.

I walked over to the group who were trying to figure out which cabin they were getting.
"I think we should get the cabin by the water, because Luca has never experienced this sort of thing before." Chrys protested with her arms crossed.
Rosie nodded in agreement.
"That's true, you guys could get the one by the woods cause you're just so much braver than we are." She said and I could hear the sarcasm biting at them so hard.

Feeling the corners of my lips twitch into a soft smile, I walked over to Chrys.
"Would it be alright if I adventured around?" I asked her.
Chrys looked to me with a rather unsure expression.
"I don't know Luca.. I mean you-"
"Let the kid go Chrys, you just talked about him not experiencing this." Snake cut her off with crossed arms and a smirk plastered on his face like he just won something.

She was glaring at the other now before looking to me.
"That's fine, just be careful and stay away from the plants low to the ground. I know nothing about your allergies yet, and would rather you not break out during your first time here." She told me with knitted brows.
I grinned with a nod before jogging off.

"Styx, follow him please." Chrys told the younger trickster who nodded without having to be told twice.
~~~~~~~
"She said to stay away from the low plants.. did she mean these..?" I questioned out loud looking at the weird shaped plants by a tree.
I wasn't sure about my allergies either and I'd rather not find out this weekend either.
I looked around with crossed arms.
"Now where to.." I murmured with a soft sigh.
~~~
"Can you two go and look for fire wood?" Rosie asked Snake and Deja who were sitting at the edge of the water with bored expressions.
"What are you doing?" Snake questioned.
Rosie frowned at him before pointing to the cabin.
"Me and Chrys are going to be the cooks tonight, so unless you want to starve. I suggest you get to hunting down some limbs or twigs." She told him.

"I'd rather not starve." Deja grinned getting to her feet.
"I would also prefer a hot meal over some cold fish, so lets do this." She said fist bumping the other.

Snake rolled his eyes before smirking at the vampire with a nod.
"Okay kid, lets go." He encouraged her as they trailed off into the woods.

Rosie smiled softly looking to Loki who was leaning against the car with his eyes closed.
"We really needed this." She said heading back into the cabin where the demon was.

"Did we bring the seasonings?" Chrys asked her at the counter.
Rosie arched a brow against the door with her arms crossed.
"I think we did, salt pepper and whatever else we needed was in the yellow and blue bag by the wall over there." She said walking in the direction she said.
Chrys glanced to the hybrid then looked into the silver bowl that held steaks and different ingredients she had already tossed in.

"It's not even on the pit yet and it smells great Chrys." Rosie mused leaning over the other to watch her cook.
Chrys smirked against the other.
"You sure you're not crushing on me, Lynn?" She teased.
Rosie punched the other.
"In your dreams, Angel. Sorry but you're not my type, as cute as you might be on some days." She grinned.
Chrys stuck her tongue out at the other.

"We really did need this weekend though, I think it'll do us some good. Especially with Luca getting to know everyone outside of work." Rosie said.
Chrys looked to her.
"The kid ran off the first chance he got, do you really think he's here to get to know us?" She asked.

Rosie made a face.
"He's curious Chrissy, its his first time at a lake. Let him take it all in." She told her.
Chrys looked at the bowl before nodding.
"You're right." She confessed.
"Damn right I am." Rosie smirked widely before continuing to help the other cook.
~~~~~~~
I made it to a different area of the lake with an arched brow.
It wasn't as pretty as the area we were at, there were weeds and a dock.
I mean we had a dock too, but this one looked like it was ready to collapse.
"You gonna take a dip or gonna stare at it some more?" I jumped at the sound of someone else's voice.
I turned to be greeted with a smirking Styx who was beside a tree with an amused look on his face.
Biting my lip I looked back to the water.
"It's not going to bite you." Styx grinned ripping his shirt off.
"I know that!" I said with a blush.
Styx's eyes flickered for a second then went back to normal.
