**Rosie's Pov.**

I stared at the empty pantry with a frustrated look.
I wasn't even aware I was this low on groceries.
I need food dammit.

Walking into the living room where Styx was laying watching some movie.
I crossed my arms looking at the trickster.
"Hey, I have to get some groceries do you want to come with me?" I asked the blonde.
Styx looked at me with a frown.
"Sorry but I'll pass Rosie, if there's even the slightest chance Snake is there. I don't want to deal with it." He told me.
I nodded.
"That's understandable, is there anything specific you'd like for around here?" I asked him.
Styx made a face then shook his head.
"No thanks, I'm good." He said now.

Nodding I walked over to the table to get the grocery list going.
There wasn't too much we'd probably need but I never know.
I wasn't sure how Styx's food diet was.
I knew he ate.
But how much?

Looking over my shoulder I walked back into the room.
"Styx, how much do you eat?" I asked him.
Styx paused the show then looked at me with an arched brow.
"I'll ignore how you worded that, but not too much. A little here and there, I don't have a large appetite." He said with a frown.
"Do you want me to pitch in some money? I don't mind Rosie, its only fair." He offered.
My money was tight and I knew Styx had things going on for him.
Styx studied me before pulling out his wallet.
"Styx you don't have to-"
"Shut up, take it." He said handing me eighty dollars as I looked at him unsure.
"If I'm crashing here for the time being, I want to help you. Don't object." He told me.

Sighing softly I shoved the money into my pocket.
"Okay.. and you're sure you don't want to come with or if there's anything you want?" I asked him before I slid my shoes on.
Styx sat there for a moment then frowned.
"I'll stay put, and about the anything I want. If its not too much trouble, I'd like some grapes? Snake never allowed them in the apartment and its been a while." He said.

That was the most cutest yet saddest request.
I wouldn't tell him that though.
Just like I wouldn't question why Snake forbid grapes.
That jack ass was on my top shit list and I'd rather not mess with him.

"Alright Styx, I'm fixing to head out. Chrys is supposed to be over sometime today, either soon or later. I'll give her a call to find out for sure on the time." I told him.
Styx nodded looking slight pitiful.
I smiled softly before leaving the comforts of my home.
He'll be alright.
He's safe here.
~~
I walked into Cilor with the buggy in front of me as I looked around.

Carter was at the door looking slight annoyed at something.
I walked over to the vampire with a frown.

"Hey Cart, whats with that look?" I asked him.

The blonde looked to me.
"That bastard Snake is here, he came here in a shitty mood and started cussing at Lexia just because she was worried about the cuts on his arms." He growled.
Oh right I forgot Lexia and Carter were a thing.
Man it feels like everyone I know was getting into a relationship.

I was actually starting to feel left out.
Not that I needed to rush anything.

"Ah, if I have to I'll say something to him if we cross paths. I'm sort of hoping it won't happen, he hurt Styx pretty bad last night." I told the other with crossed arms.
Carter glanced to me annoyed.
"Why does Styx even fuck with that jerk? He could actually do a lot better than be with some abusive trickster like that, I can't believe I'm saying this but he's a lot worse than Stan right now." Carter told me.
I frowned at him.
"I'm actually agreeing with you on that, Stan can be a real piece of shit but Snake is honestly taking the cake. He let the jealousy get the better of him and its back firing." I said.

Carter rolled his eyes.
"Like I said, the kid can do a lot better. By the way, wheres the rest of your hellish group? Its quiet for once." He smirked at me.
I smirked back, he was referring to Chrys.
"She's at home, off today I think. She's dropping by to check on Styx later, I think everyone is off except for you know who." I said.
Carter nodded.
"Well give Styx my regards in hopes he gets better, I don't want to hold you up." He said moving to the door.
I nodded leaving the other.

Reaching into my pocket, I stopped walking to pull out nothing.
I stood there before groaning.
"Fuck... I left the list at home." I sighed heavily it almost sounded dramatic.
I wasn't returning home.
Screw that I'll just wing it.

My first stop was produce.
Because Styx asked for grapes.
But wait.
Red or green?
DAMMIT!

I ended up settling for both.
Hell I don't mind grapes, especially the red ones.
They're a lot sweeter.

"Rosie?" I heard Percy's voice.
