Third Person POV

There was an assassination attempt on another werewolf. Two high school orphans were the two trained assassins that tried to kill Brett, a werewolf form another pack and Scott.

"Hold him still!" Deaton yells at Derek and Stiles, referring to Brett laying on his table. "If he isn't still, this cut could kill him." Deaton says.

"Use your werewolf strength!" Stiles tells Derek.

"I'm not the only werewolf using strength here!" Derek barks at him. Brett then shoots up, not knowing what to do. He was about to run when Peter came in and punched Brett in the face hard enough to knock him out.

"Looks like I'm getting some strength back." Peter says.

"Yeah, or a lot." Derek says, out of breath, Deaton then goes and make an incision in Brett's chest, allowing Brett to finally breathe.

"He'll be out for a few hours, but he will be fine." Deaton says. Then, Brett starts whispering under his breath,

"The sun, the moon, the truth."

"The sun, the moon the truth." Deaton repeats. "Its Buddhist." Deaton says. Derek and Peter look at each other, knowing who Deaton is talking about.

"Satomi." Peter finally says.

....

"Derek's going to die?" Cadence asks the group of people standing around her.

"Yes, but we can't tell you how, when or, or why." My mom says.

"Why not?" I ask.

"Because you can't stop it. Not this time." My real mom tells me.

"Stop what? What's going to happen to him?" I ask, going crazy just thinking about Derek dying.

"Honey, you're here so we can help you with your evolving." My real mom says, dodging my question.

"How are you supposed to help me?" I ask.

"I evolved. It's rare but so are you." Talia tells me.

"Well, what else is there." I ask.

"Learn to embrace it. It's not scary, its wonderful. Just embrace it." My real dad tells me.

Embrace it.

....

Derek needs help trying to find Satomi's pack. So he goes to get the one person who knows the Beacon Hills woods better than anybody.

Malia,

She's sitting in class, ready to start when she hears something.

"Malia." She looks around to find who said her name.

"Malia." She hears again. She then gets up to leave the class.

"Malia. Do you need to be excused from class?" The teacher asks, being sarcastic.

"Well yeah." Malia said, like it was obvious. She is walking around the halls to find where her name was coming from and then she finds Derek. "What are you doing here?" She asks him.

"Brett's still out of it and I need to find his pack so i can warn them about the dead pool." He answeres.

"Why do you need me for?" She asks, curiously.

"I know a little something about this pack. They have some kind of secret meeting place in the woods." He says. "No one's spent more time in the woods of Beacons Hills, than you." He says, he then throws a jersey at her. "This is Brett's. Breathe it in." Derek tells her.
