time to sleep
trying to look into the distance,
but she sees nothing for her.wanting to swim so deep
and not come up for air.wishing to scream out her lungs,
only for a deafening silence to evade.streaming tears down her cheeks
with muffled sobs and whimpers.trembling hands and shaking legs
while gasping with quaky breaths.blurring vision and numbing voice,
her heart thuds against her weak chest.a single heart splitting into hundreds of worthless pieces,
so her mind clouds with countless thoughts of the next life.staring up at the twinkling stars,
she wants to fly with them.time to sleep, child.
this world does not deserve you.— hrg
