Chapter 6

Tee's POV

I look closely at the girl but I can't seem to recognise her. She does not seem to be one of the girls that Tae had brought home.

Arghhh.. Why am I getting so pissed looking at that girl standing so close to Tae? Ignore... ignore...

I start talking with Godt and Cop but then I take a little glance at Tae's direction. He does not seem to have noticed me. He is so engrossed in talking to that girl.

Cop asks me, "Hey Tee, what are you staring at so intently? Oh.. is that your boyfriend with a girl?"

I glare at Cop. Godt looks at me questioningly, "So, is he your boyfriend?"

I reply in annoyance, "It's complicated."

Cop smirks and says, "Of course it is."

I glare at Cop again. But suddenly Cop and Godt have their eyes big and round looking somewhere.

I turn to find that they too are looking at Tae and that girl... but now those two are chatting with Kim and Bas! That girl is laughing and moves to sit between Kim and Bas. Now she has put her hands on Kim and Bas's shoulder. Tae too looks happy as he chats with all the three!

Clearly, this is making all three of us very frustrated. Why is the mystery around Tae increasing with every passing day? Who is this girl and how does Tae know the owners of this pub!

Godt taps me on my shoulder and asks me, "How does your boyfriend know Bas?"

Cop cuts in, "and Kim.. I want to know... go and ask him."

Both push me out of my chair.

"Yeah, yeah.. I am going, no need to push!"

I walk towards Tae, stand beside him and tap on his shoulder, only then does he notice my existence!

Tae exclaims, "Ohh.. Tee! How come you are here? Weren't you meeting with your friends tonight?"

I glare at him and then glare at the girl beside him and then talk to him as calmly as I can, "I am here with my friends. How come you are here?"

When I look back at that girl, I find her looking at me with curiosity and amusement!

Tae opens his mouth to say something but that girl cuts him and puts her arm on Tae's shoulder and says, "Tae baby! You didn't tell your protective friend here that you are going on a date with your girlfriend tonight!"

Tae looks at that girl with shock while I am practically fuming looking at that girl... her hand on Tae's shoulder and .... how dare she call Tae as Tae baby? Even I have not called him baby!

Just then I hear loud guffaws from the other two guys nearby. Kim and Bas are laughing so hard while looking at the three of us!

Now even the girl is laughing with them! Tae also has a smile on his face now as he shakes his head and looks at the three silly people laughing away!

I glare at Tae as I find this increasingly irritating!

Tae finally removes that girl's hand from his shoulder and gets up. He puts both his hands cheeks and says, "You are so adorable! You got jealous of her?"

Before I could react, that girl says, "Sorry P'Tee for making you jealous but I couldn't resist teasing you a bit after hearing this guy talk only about you the entire evening!"

It takes me a bit of time to process what she's saying so I look at Tae to help me understand what is going on!

Tae says with a smile, "I told you over the phone that my childhood friend is asking to meet me tonight.. she is that friend."

Tae looks at that girl, "Manee, this is Tee, my boyfriend and Tee, this is Manee..."

Kim speaks up and says, "What about us? Won't you introduce us too?"

Tae nods and says, "This is P'Kimmon, Manee's elder brother. And this is P'Bas, P'Kim's best friend. They both are also the owners of this pub so every time Manee comes to Bangkok, this is our usual meeting place."

I ask Tae, "So she does not stay in Bangkok?"

Manee teasingly asks me, "Are you happy that I don't stay in Bangkok? Don't worry, Tae's not my type. He's too troublesome."

Tae slaps her head lightly and says, "Like you are my type! You are even more troublesome than me! And don't tease my Tee anymore."

Manee asks, "Why are you calling him Tee? You should say P'Tee, isn't it?"

Tae shrugs and says, "Why should I? Who calls one's boyfriend P'?"

I am confused now. Why should Tae call me P'? I thought we are the same age.

I whisper in Tae's ear, "How old are you?"

Manee hears this and laughs, "So you didn't tell him your age?"

Tae glares at her and says, "Will you just shut up now? Why do you keep butting in while I talk with Tee?"

Manee still keeps speaking, "P'Tee, if this guy gives you any trouble, then you can give me a call anytime. Give me your phone, I will enter my number."

I give her my mobile absentmindedly.

I start thinking that I really don't know anything about Tae!

Tae snatches away my phone from Manee's hands and says, "Don't give your phone to her."

Manee teases Tae, "Why? You think I will snatch P'Tee from you?"

Tae glares at Manee.

Manee further teases, "So you don't trust P'Tee?"

I don't get why Tae is behaving like this.

Kim stops both from fighting like this.

"Stop you two! Always teasing and fighting with each other! If I am not around to stop, I wonder if you both would pull each other's hair out!"

Both Tae and Manee just roll their eyes.

Manee snatches my phone from Tae and feeds her number quickly and returns it to me, all the while laughing teasingly at Tae.

I find someone tapping my shoulder from behind. I turn to find my two best friends standing and looking at everyone in the group, finally settling their eyes on Kim and Bas.

Godt tells me, "You took longer than expected so we came over. Won't you introduce us to everyone here?"
