"Izumi? I'm here." I heard a familiar voice say. Not an annoying one... A really nice one. Um... Itachi!

"Heya, 'Tachi? So... How's life?"

"Well, for one, we've all missed you a lot..."

"Hm.. I missed you guys too! Oh, and what happened to Lord Fourth? I haven't seen him around anywhere..."

"Oh... Um that. You see, the Nine Tailed Fox, Kyuubi, attacked our village. And... The Fourth Hokage and his wife gave gave their to save it, by sealing Kyuubi into their son, Naruto."

"Oh... At least Minato and Kushina are together... And I'll have to pay my respects."

"Yes, at least that's right. I'll leave you to do that alone; don't we all remember you used to admire the two of them?"

"Yeah" I chuckled. "So, how's Sasuke?"

"Just fine... I'm going to try to be the best big brother ever to him!"

"I'm pretty sure you are already," I chuckled

"Speaking of big siblings, you are one too."

"Yeah...yeah... Wait... HUH?!?"

"Your sister, Namiki was born a little before you came."

"REALLY? That's so COOL! In that case, I want to be the best big sister EVER to her."

"I'm pretty sure you are." I looked at him. And randomly burst into laughter.

"AHAHAHA THAT WASN'T EVEN FUNNY... WE WERE JUST SORTA REPEATING EACH OTHER.. AHAHAHAHA" I gasped out. After a few seconds, he joined in too. I bet the building was shaking, how loud we were.

"What are you two laughing so much about? I want to join in!" An amused voice asked.

"Tou-san! Hi! Izumi and Tachi were laughing about funny things, obviously!" I answered, putting on my facade voice again.

"Well, I'll let you two catch up, and then I'll have a word with you, okay?"

"Okay Kay!" After he left, Itachi looked at me quizzically. "Why are you looking at me that way?" I asked.

"Well, you acted different when you talked to your family earlier, and this time too. What's up?"

"Well, when I was away... Lots of things happened... I don't know what the Hokage or anyone will do if they find out... But I think they might take me away, for... Testing or something. Or they might hurt my family... Or anything. I want to keep them happy and safe, so I act that way to hide what's inside." I pointed to myself. "Now that I've got a baby sister, I want to protect everyone... Especially her."

"I see... Well, when you're ready, you can tell me more. Just remember that I will never, ever let anyone take you from me, not like before."

"...Thank you."

"Your dad wants to talk to you... I'll be going now." He said as he hugged me.

"Bye." I whispered. "I'll see you tomorrow."

After he left, my dad came in. "Heya, Tou-san! What did you want to talkie to Izumi about?"

"Well, your mother and I have been talking about you going to the Academy, and we decide you'll be going this year! School starts in two weeks, so we figured you'll be okay. Are you?"

"DEFINITELY! YAAAY! Izumi's going to the Academy!!"

"Oh, and you're a big sister now-"

"YEAH I KNOW! Tachi told Izumi! IZUMI IS HAPPY! Happy happy happy!"

"That's great! Let's check you out of the hospital now, alright?"

"GO MOTOR RACING!"

Quick Itachi POV

Wow... She's changed so much since the kidnapping, she used to be so carefree, and now she holds such sadness in her eyes. Her looks have changed too, her blue hair's a lot longer, her eyes more intense, and... She seems so much prettier. And I'm not sure what, but I think she's hiding something from me...
