What is this with me not being able to come up with chapter titles? URGH. Here's another crappy title... Sorry. But hopefully the chapter itself won't be that crappy!

Izumi's POV-

The next day, I reported to my station at the ANBU headquarters at 7 sharp, ready to go. As I walked down the hallway, I bumped into the Hokage. "Oh, sorry, Lord Third. I wasn't looking where I going," I apologized.

"Oh, no, it's fine, my dear. I was just going to loom for you. Now, follow me, you're going to meet your squad. Since this is an assassination mission, you'll be in a 3 man cell." He replied. As we reached a room, a grey haired kid rushed pa- wait.. Grey haired kid? It's gotta be Kakashi! The old man called out, "Hey, Kakashi, this is the new member of your group I was telling you about!" He looked back, and since I was wearing my mask, I simply nodded and waved.

He gave me a closed eyed smile, and said, "well, come with me then! Hokage-Sama?" The Hokage nodded, gave me a pat on my back, then left. I joined him, and as I walked alongside him, he asked. "Welcome to the ANBU. So, what's your name? You seem familiar...

"Izumi's name is Izumi!" I replied cheerfully, shocking him.

"I..it's you? Sheesh, you should way stronger than me now..."

When we reached the room, I saw a brown haired boy, younger than Kakashi but older than me.

"Hello. My name is Tenzo... " he began. "We've heard a lot about you, and I can can help with your Wood Style."

"Izumi would like that! Because... Guess what? Izumi is a human!" Tenzo sweat dropped, but avoided the subject of my foolish way of speaking.

"Let's get ready and head out to our mission, then." Said Kakashi, putting on his weapons pouch. "We're going to be assassinating a group of rogue ANBU from Iwagakure. Remember, Earth Style Justus are not going to help, try to use water or lightning style.. Or your Wood Style, I guess." We nodded, and took off.

I'm just going to skip the mission-y parts... I sorta suck at those, and you wouldn't want to read 32 of those, right? :D

Itachi's POV

Shisui and I were idling near the waterfall we always went to, and suddenly Shisui said, "Hey... Itachi. This is a personal question, but... Do you like Izumi?" He raised his eyebrows and I felt my cheeks heating up.

"Of course I like her! I..I mean, I like all my friends!" I stuttered, flustered.

"No, no. I mean... Do you like like her?"

"Well... Don't tell her..."

"Ha! I KNEW IT! Ahahahaha!!"

"I'm never going to live this down, right?"

"Nope!" Suddenly, little Sasuke burst out from behind the trees.

"Sasuke! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be taking a nap?"

"B.. But onii-chan! I couldn't shweep... So I wooked for you!"

I smiled and said, "Well, come here then! There's always room for you." He smiled and ran onto my lap, and promptly fell asleep.

Shisui smiled, muttering something along the lines of, "Such a cute kid. Just wait til he finds out about his big brother liking a girl!"

"Oh, be quiet!"

Time Skip- Half a year... So they're all ANBU now! (Age 11)

Izumi's POV

I had just became a leader of my own squad, and I was waiting for an eligible team. When Itachi and Shisui got promoted, I was so proud, but also sad, knowing that they would know the truth about the Kimikoto and Uchiha clans. When I got home, I received loving welcomes from my family, and instead of feeling happy, all I felt was sadness. I still greeted them happily, and went to the Uchiha compound. There, I found Itachi sitting on his porch, deep in thought. When he saw me, he asked, "Did you know?"

Sighing, I sat next to him and whispered, "Yes. I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you... "

"It's alright... I understand. Who... What did you choose?"

"You should know..."

"Konoha?"

"Y..Yes. You do know that after we tell the Hokage... The only choice would be to..to...kill...them."

"I know. But maybe, we can talk them out of it?"

"You know even better than I do how that wouldn't work. Ours are power thirsty clans... Stubborn ones at that."

"I suppose..." He pulled me into a warm hug.

"Shisui. He knows too, right?"

"We've already talked, and I'll fill him up later. Right now, you're safe with me... Not that you need any protection,"

"Well, I want to be at your side." So I snuggled in and twin tears formed on both of our faces.
