Weird Experiments and a Training Partner - 2

Izumi's POV

After following Orochimaru through the long and winging halls of the base, he opened a door, leading to a rather scary-looking lab. "Do you know what kind of experiments I've been doing on you, my dear Izumi?" He began.

"Uh.. No. How would I? All I know is that they hurt like crazy." I mumbled.

"Well... We've been injecting other clan's blood into you.. Namely the Uchiha and Hyūga... And I will be awakening your clan's kekkei genkai very, very soon. Then... You shall be my ultimate weapon to destroy your precious Konoha!" Too shocked to speak, I whimpered softly.

"N..n..no. Please, no. Anything but that!"

"Oh, and that's not all... I will be taking control of your body... And it will become mine!" That was just sick. Did he really expect me to agree to all of this? I would never, ever betray my village. "So relax, Izumi, and we'll test just how strong you are when you wake up...." As expected, a small snake slithered across the floor and bit my hand. Really, this was usual. In just a second now... I.. Would.. Be.. Knocked....*darkness*

I groaned, and blinked my eyes groggily. Uh.. What's that it see? Weird blobs of.. Chakra? Huh? Oh... Oreo's sick little experiments... They finally took affect. My head hurt like crazy, but I managed to rip open the straps holding me down and walk across the room, opening the door... Only to find a very amused looking Orochimaru.

"So, my experiment worked.. Soon, you will be able to rival a tailed beast! Your training starts tomorrow. For now... Just rest."

I nodded. "Hai.." And I obediently trudged towards my room, looking forward to a night of headaches.

Time skip! The next morning.

I woke up to Hamiko gently waking me up.

"Good morning! Orochimaru wants us to go to the training room in ten minutes. I'll wait while you change, okay?"

"Sure! Thanks for waking me up!"

"No problem!" She gave me a closed eyed smile and walked out.

I changed into my ninja outfit, which was rather simple, just a fishnet shirt and a black tank top over it, and black capris with my weapons pouches around my waist and on the right side of my right leg. Oh! I decided to play a little prank on Hamiko.

I sneaked up on her and whispered "Hey, Hami-chan... Let's go!"

"AHH!" She screamed. "Izumi... Don't do that!"

"Sorry.. Izumi couldn't help it.." I apologized sheepishly.

"It's alright.. Just no more." She sighed. As we walked inside the training we room, we saw Orochimaru already there, expecting us.

"Today, we're going to be sparring." He started, looking at me with a glint in his eyes. "Let's find out how strong you two are."

"Hai," Hamiko and I said in unison.

"And.. Start."

We assumed fighting positions. Suddenly, she charged towards me. I dodged, and slashed her arm with a hidden kunai. She glowered, but I reacted quickly.

"Lightning Style- One Thousand Birds Senbon!" I yelled while doing handsigns, causing many tiny, senbon shaped chidoris towards her. Don't ask me how I knew that jutsu, A-rank as it was, but I just did. Hamiko managed to dodge most of them, but four or five pierced through her skin, so some blood spurted out and electrical charges went through her body.

She grunted, stood up, and yelled "Earth Style- Stone Fist Jutsu!" A thick layer of rock appeared on her fist, but she didn't realize that with my Sharingan, I had copied her jutsu, and since I was faster than her, within seconds she was sprawled on the floor, coughing up some blood. "I.. I'm done." She said, looking at me with a mix of admiration and rivalry.

Throughout that day, we sparred a few more times, although I won every turn. I have confidence that Hamiko would get a lot better, and so would our friendship. That was the first day that I went to sleep with a smile on my lips.
