I grab Todoroki's arm and pull him towards me. I give him a small peck on the lips before talking.

"Listen, Todoroki. Something happened last night and—," I get cut off before I can finish.

Sirens could be heard in the distance and I saw a cop ride onto school grounds. Cops were always allowed to go onto school grounds, as long as the police department tells the school they're coming.

I watch the officer closely. I watch as the female goes up to a random boy and asks a question. The boy points in my direction and I feel my heart stop.

The officer runs over to me and, when she gets to me, leans over and breaths for a few seconds. I watch is silence as she violently swings her head up and speaks.

"Are you (Name)," she asks me. I'm to shaken up by that whole thing to answer her. Thankfully, Todoroki steps in.

"Yes, she is. Why," he asks the officer. He pushes my behind him lightly as if he were silently protecting me.

My face flushes with the thought of Todoroki protecting me. I mean sure, I can protect myself and all. But there's always something so thrilling about being saved.

"I need to talk to her, young man. This is a private conversation," the officer whines out. "Don't make my life harder!"

"I'm sorry," I whisper silently, going out from behind Todoroki. "Yes, I'm (Name)."

"Good. I have something to tell you about your..." she sends a look at Todoroki.

"He can know," I quickly let her know.

"Okay... well, last night your parents appeared missing. Normally, since your other relatives live so far away we'd take you out of school and transfer you over there.

"But because your in the hero course, you'll just need to stay with a friend or something," the officer informs me. I stare at the officer.

"M-missing," I ask her. As mean as my parents were, I didn't want them to go missing. "Okay. I-I'll sort it out. Thank you for telling me."

"Just my job, ma'am," the officer salutes before running back to the cop car. I assume that they're going to be back to interview me, ask me who might take my parents.

I turn around and hug Todoroki. He returns the hug and a calm feeling runs through me. Eventually, we let go and turn around to go to class.

Ah, sorry. Wait," I hear the officer scream out, stopping us from going to class again. "Do-," she wheezed from running at us so fast. "I mean, we have to take you into the station."

"Can I come to," asks Todoroki.

"No," the officer responds really fast. A little too fast. "Anyways, come on."

"Okay..." I follow her to the cop car and sit the back of it. She sits in the passenger seat and I look at the driver.

A young man with light brown hair that is gelled to the side. This seems pretty normal. They lock the doors and start the car.

They drive for a while and after about 30 minutes of driving the houses and buildings even out and fields start appearing.

This happens until all there is around us are fields and they're all farms. I look at the two drivers and they seem to be very focused on the road.

"Uh, where are we going," I ask. I point to the road behind us and say, "the station is that way."

The driver looks in the mirror that allows you to see the passengers and glares for a split second before paying attention to the road again.

"Well, we aren't going to the station," says the officer who came up to me. "We're taking you directly to your parents!"

"You're what?"

"Yeah, yeah," she waves her hand around. "We had some allies take your parents and now we're taking you."

"But that's kidnapping," I point out.

"Good."

My heart skips a beat and all I can do is sit here and hope someone will notice my missing. Todoroki probably will.

Hopefully will.
