Pretending [YOONKOOK]

6 : Unfine

As Yoongi was now live away from his mother in Seoul, he is starting to grow his old habit back in an even strong pattern than before. It starts with thinking about eating healthy as he was trying not to get sick and affected Jungkook since the boy has a dream to achieve.

Second, it started when he works and study both in a combo which makes his life even busier than before. Not that he got less time to rest, but also to eat. At first Yoongi didn't see this as an achievement or anything. Hence he was angry with how he is falling back to the old pattern he used to have after trying to get help for years. He didn't want his mother money gone to waste.

Yoongi just comforts himself saying that he is just too busy and not relapsing his old habit. But as time come, Yoongi was starting to feel proud of himself when he realizes he digest nothing but a cup of coffee throughout the day.

At first, it was nothing serious. He just having headache and trouble to focus well. Nothing serious.

He eats something heavy just when he started to feel his whole body shaking, his sight gone dark or when he need support from the wall to stand. If he was at home, just the minor symptoms are enough to make his mother shove a plate full of foods into his mouth.

Yoongi wasn't really obsessed with losing weight or having a skinny figure. He is just too lazy to eat. Sometimes he thinks he didn't deserve the food as his daily chores aren't that hard. Sometimes he just wants to prefer bitter black coffee rather than a full meal to digest faster.

And suddenly, that sometimes become full time.

"Hyung, eat." Jungkook mutter not looking at the older who is studying at the small coffee table.

"What?" Yoongi asks not really hearing what Jungkook said just now because he was so into reading the book.

"I'm hungry. Let's eat something." Jungkook then rephrases his sentence in a normal way again. He doesn't want to appear weird to suddenly being caring about the older. Don't get him wrong. He is still not minding Yoongi's business or anything. But even being ignorant, Jungkook can't help to notice how sometimes the older just slip while walking or how he went to throw up after eating something as simple as an energy bar. He wants to say 'Hyung why are you not eating at all recently? Are you sick?' but that will probably make thing awkward. 

Upon hearing Jungkook request Yoongi mind directly reject it somehow.

"Go and eat.I'm not hungry. You had been studying for hours." Yoongi replied uninterested as he highlights the keyword.

Jungkook sighed internally. How to make Yoongi eat without appearing weird or awkward? I mean. How? They didn't really talk and the last time they did Jungkook was actually chasing him away from being close to him. So tell him, how should he say this to invite Yoongi so he can eat?

"Let's eat together hyung." Jungkook tried again.

"The last time you told me we can't be seen talking in public isn't it?" Yoongi replied emotionless and Jungkook internally slap himself for saying that without rephrasing his words that day. That's why they came out really rude.

"It's lonely eating alone.." Jungkook replied in a low voice as he feels bad.

"Ask that two friends who you always sit with in class. Maybe they can help you to feel less lonely?" Yoongi replied remembering about Jimin and Taehyung who can't stop following Jungkook everywhere like a little duck.

"But, I still want to go with you.." Jungkook replied as he finally turns and looks at Yoongi.

Yoongi lifts up his head and looks at Jungkook as their eyes meet and Jungkook was nervous when Yoongi look unbother.

"Just somewhere nearby. I'm tired." Yoongi said as he sighed out closing his thick book on the table. Jungkook nervous expression falls into a huge smile as Yoongi agree. But he makes sure to turn his head around before that as he might look creepy.

"Don't smile to yourself. You will look crazy." Yoongi said and Jungkook turns around with a glare.

"I'm not smiling." Jungkook lied and Yoongi smirk.

"See some baby is trying to lie is funny. Good try but you ain't fooling anyone." Yoongi said as he walks toward the luggage and grabs a thick comfy sweater before fixing them on his tiny body.

This is the first time ever Jungkook and Yoongi will properly go out and eat together, after almost a month Yoongi had been here.

The walk firstly was really silent and awkward. Sometimes Yoongi will walk faster ahead, sometimes Jungkook did. But they never did walk side by side.

"So, the sky is so bright but it's super cold right." Yoongi tried to talk and Jungkook was caught off guard with the sudden start of the conversation.

"Uh...Uhm..yeah.It's really cold." And then the conversation goes silent again.

They both sighed happily as the finally arrive at a Mc-Donald fast food shop and both of them thinking just the same things.

'I'm so glad at least we got the background of people speaking around us will make shit less awkward.' 

"Oh? Isn't that Jin hyung?" Jungkook break the silence as they are finished ordering and paying for the food.

"Oh?" Yoongi lift up his head from fidgeting with his sleeves and look toward the direction to see Jin with another boy. Without further talk, both of them walk toward the table to greet them.

"God. Yoongi? Min Yoongi is that you?" Jin ask in disbelief as he know it too well, it's hard for Yoongi to just come out to a local store without any legit good reason. He is not a going out person.

Yoongi just stare at anywhere but Jin. He know what exactly the older is thinking but he really hope he didn't pry much more. And Jin did. He just smile and invite both of them to the table.

"Oh, I'm sorry introduce my friend here Kim Namjoon. Namjoon this is Jungkook and Yoongi." Jin introduce them and due to the name Jungkook just stop munching his food and stare into the nothingness.

Yoongi greet Namjoon with a smile and nod and as they are waiting for Jungkook to introduce himself, he did nothing.

"Jungkook? Are you okay?" He was drag back to reality by Yoongi soft voice as his hand gently pat on his shoulder. He look worried.

Jungkook look around to see Namjoon and Jin also look worried.

"Oh I'm sorry I was thinking about something. Nice to meet you Namjoon hyung." Jungkook smile awkwardly then turn back his stare to the burger.

After a while Yoongi poke him and he turn his head to look at him.

"You sure you alright? We can go back if you are uncomfortable." Yoongi ask.

"I'm fine." Jungkook reply.

'But I'm scared you are the one who not fine here, Yoongi hyung. '

I was about to get to sleep as it already late but then I was suddenly have this urge to cut myself and I'm sorry if the story is starting to drop down because I'm really unstable... I love you.
