Chapter six

Luke's P.O.V

I wake up to the sun shining way too brightly in my eyes and I'm strangely not in my bed.... I look around and I'm asleep on a couch that I don't own. Well it's not the first time that this has happened. I look over the room and last night comes rushing back to me. The party, Ryan, Maire and Sarah. Oh yeah, I guess I'm in Marie's apartment. But apartment is an understatement, it's more like a penthouse.  I hope I didn't try anything with Marie last night. I really don't want to mess up this new friendship. She's way too nice of a girl for me to have her as one of the many girls I sleep with and don't call back. I'm just not the relationship type. 

I hear a door open and I see Marie come out of her bedroom grimacing while holding her forehead. I guess she's not used to drinking. "You okay over there?" I ask with a smile as I get up and walk over to the kitchen where she is looking through the fridge. My guess is for a water. "Yeah, I guess. I feel like shit." She says as she sits down at the bar stool and chugs her water. "Ha ha yeah, I'm guessing you don't drink very often." I reply as I head over to the cabinets looking for aspirin.

I find the medicine cabinet above the sink and I quickly find some aspirin. "Here, take four of these it will do help a lot with your're headache." I chuckle and hand them to her. "Yeah, thanks Luke. I guess I drank more then I thought I did last night." I look her up and down and damn she looks so good in that big t-shirt. No Luke, stop thinking of her that way. You will just end up hurting her. "Hey, you should get dressed. I'll take you out to get a nice greasy breakfast. That always helps me get through my hangovers. I guess the grease soaks up all liquor that's still in that stomach of your's." I say knowingly and pointing to her stomach. Then I head to the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower so that I stop feeling like a bar, I'll be ready in five." I say as she sighs an okay, and then puts her hand back over her head.

I hop in once the water is warm and quickly wash away the smell of alcohol. I hear some talking outside in the hallway as I shut off the water and dry myself off with one of the towels hanging in the bathroom. I throw my clothes back on and open the door to see Sarah and Ryan kissing. "Come on guys! Go to a bedroom and do that shit." I say as I put on a mock horror face. "hardee har har Luke." Ryan says while laughing. Sarah just stands there giggling like a Japanese school girl in a Hello Kitty store. "Yeah, well I'm taking Marie to get some breakfast to help her with the huge hangover she has. Want to join?" I ask as I walk past them and head  into the living room.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Sarah responds and looks at Ryan with a questionable look on her face. "You in?" She asks Ryan. He shrugs and asks her to talk to him in her room for a second. Okay.. That was weird. Oh well, I guess he will tell me if he wants me to know. "Hey Marie, you ready?" I ask by looking her over. She's wearing skinny jeans and a purple v- neck. God she wears that so good. "Yeah, is Sarah and Ryan joining us?" She asks while finishing up her water. "Yeah I guess. But something is defiantly going on between them." She looks at me with a 'great not again' face. "Well I guess they will tell us when they want us to know." She says looking towards the hallway leading to Sarah's room.

Sarah's P.O.V

I wake up feeling so refreshed. I turn over in my king size bed and find just who I was hoping would still be there. We didn't have sex last night. Which is weird for me and it's also weird that the guy is still here in the morning. We stayed up almost all night talking and laughing. I only got like four hours of sleep, but they were the best four hours of sleep that I have gotten in a long time. "Hey you." I smile at Ryan. "He stretches and then puts his arms around me and pulls me close. "Hey beautiful." He looks at me with admiration. I haven't ever been looked at like that before in my life. And it feels amazing.

I only had a few drinks last night, so I'm not hungover at all. For once I didn't feel the need to get drunk. "So... I had an amazing night with you last night." I signed into him. I never wanted to leave this spot. "Me too. I have never felt this connection with someone since you know, Shelby." He said her name with pain clearly in his voice. I wanted to kill this girl. I just don't know how she could have done something so horrible to someone so amazing. "Yeah, and I have never felt this way about anyone since my parents died. You make me feel happy again." I say truthfully.

We hear the shower turn on in the bathroom so we decide to get out of bed and go see if Marie wants to have breakfast with us. I open the door and start to walk down the hallway when Ryan's big strong hand pulls me into him."Hey, wait a second. I don't get a good morning kiss?" He says with humor in his voice. "Well... I guess you can since you asked so nicely." I say playfully. I lean into him and his soft lips touch mine and that's when I lost all train of thought and forgot where we were. I felt like it was just me and him in the whole world. Then I heard the bathroom door open. "Come on guys! Go to a bedroom and do that shit." I hear Luke say with humor in his voice. I turn to look at him and he has the look of mock horror on his face, clearly joking.

"Hardee har har Luke." Ryan says while laughing. "Yeah, well I'm taking Marie to get some breakfast to help her with the huge hangover she has. Want to join?" He asks us with amusement still on his face as he walks into the living room. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." I respond and  then I look at Ryan and ask "You in?" He shrugs and then asks me to talk to him in my room for a second. Probably to talk about what we're going to tell them about our relationship. I shrug and walk back towards my room.

"So, What's up?" I ask getting all paranoid. Does he want to hide it? If so, why? Does he not feel the same way about me? A million questions popping into my head, He sits on my bed and then pats the space beside him. I sit down having a mini freak out in my head. "Can you stop looking at me like I'm going to kill you or something?" He says with a smile and then smooths out the frown I have on my face. He keeps his hand on my cheek and runs his thumb over my lips. I open my mouth slightly and he leans into me looking right into my eyes. It's like he is trying to see into my soul, I quickly get dizzy and I know that if he keeps looking into my eyes like that I'm going to faint. I close them and lean into him hoping that he will kiss me back.

Our mouths open up for each other and he slides his tongue into my mouth gently messaging mine and it's like my tongue has a mind of it's own and is easily in sync with his. I'm getting that dizzy feeling again, so I pull away way too soon for my liking, but he brought me in here to talk. Were both panting like we just ran a mile and we just sit there looking into each others eyes for what seemed like an eternity. Finally he starts to speak and I let go of the breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"So I guess we should talk about what we are going to tell Luke and Marie." He says with a hopeful look. I look at him for a second and reply "Okay, you first. What do you think we should tell them?" He thinks for a second and I'm just praying that he wants to be with me. "If it's okay with you I would like to tell them that we have decided to start dating." He looks like he's hoping that I would say yes. Well duh, of course I'm going to say yes. "Oh thank god you feel the same way I do!" I say happily. He takes a piece of my hair and puts it behind my ear and then starts kissing me. But this kiss is different, It's hopeful. It feels like I'm being kissed for the first time.

We stop kissing and I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to share this amazing news with Marie.

Hey fans! I hope you like this chapter. I made it a lot longer then the others. I love this chapter. Oh and I went back to the other chapters and fixed all my mistakes and changed some things. So if it didn't come across right then you can go back and re read it. It all makes a lot more sense this time lol
