Marie's P.O.V
Wow, that hotel was amazing! I can't believe Luke would do that for me. You know the breakfast and all. I just never thought of him as a thoughtful guy, but look at that, he is. Now I'm standing here in this amazing clothing store in Ireland! If someone had told me that I would be here with this famous player guy in Ireland right now, I would have slapped them in the face for getting my hopes up. I look around the store and the style is a lot like New York, but it has it's own little twist. I know that I packed clothes, but I don't have to worry about checking anything since I came here in a private jet and all, so I'm going to burn a hole in my pocket.
A lot of the guys working here came and helped me. "Hello, what can I do for you today?" This really handsome guy came up and asked me, he had bright green eyes and red hair. "I just came in here to look, thank you though." I replied as I started looking around and picking out some stuff. He looked me up and down then said "I think this would bring out your eyes better." I turned around to look at him and what he was holding up. It was a light blue cocktail dress. It looks amazing. I look at the black one that I had already picked out and then I put it back on the rack, he was right, that dress looked awesome.
I thanked him and then went to the dressing room to try it on, it had light blue and black beading across the breast area and the beading stopped right below it, a shiny light blue thick ribbon replaced it and ended about two inches below breasts. It was ruffled at the bottom and the dress stopped right in the middle of my thighs. It was gorgeous, it also had two blue roses on each side of my hip and actually did complement my eyes really well.
After that I bought two pairs of ripped up faded shorts and some cute shirts, a few jackets that stood out to me, some purses and a few shoes to go with the outfits and I found some really cute stilettos to go with the cocktail dress. They are light blue with black beading but the cocktail dress is my favorite. The dress and shoes would be nice to wear if we went somewhere nice on this trip, not that I expect Luke to take me anywhere like that. I also bought a red string bikini for the indoor pool that I saw in the hotel last night.
By the time I was done I was surrounded by people that worked here, they really do like their customers, I thought to myself, just then I saw Luke coming down the stairs, so I quickly paid for all of it with my credit card. After that I turned around to look at him, he was laughing for some reason and then told me he was done shopping so then I nodded and said "Yeah, I feel like my credit card is already going to be exhausted enough, so I should stop looking for things." I laugh to myself and then I pick up two of my bags. Three other guys pick up the rest. Wow, I was going to do that, but okay, that's nice of them.
I walk out of the store and to the car that Luke is putting his bags into. I'm glad that he had him stick around, it would be weird to have three guys following us around the whole day. Luke says "thank you for sticking around.." but then I stop listening, I get distracted looking at the amazing buildings around me. I wish America was built like this, it would be a lot better to look at. I hear the end of their conversation when the driver says "...last destination." Then I remember that I'm mad at Luke, I really hate surprises. My last surprise was my tenth birthday and that was horrible. I like knowing what's going to happen. I feel myself getting a really irritated look on my face, but I can't help it. Surprises are just not fun to me.
Luke grabs my hand and smiles at me, so I ignore him just for fun. Then he gets me to laugh and joke with him about all the different people around us, he just knows how to make me laugh and I like it. I love being with him, and here, I might just move here after college. But would it really be this fun if he wasn't with me? I look at our surrounding and I know that no, it would'nt be. He nudges my shoulder and points up at a building that's across the street from us. Oh my god! This is my surprise! I love photography and he knows it! Man he is such a great guy. "Luke! Is this my surprise? How did you find this place?" I ask him smiling so big, I don't even remember the last time I smiled this big. This is the sweetest thing a guy has ever done for me, not just the surprise, this trip in general.
