Luke’s P.O.V

My heart is beating so fast. I made a special order of one hundred star gazer lilies, her favorite flower. Just so that they were overflowing the entire venue where we first met; And I had Sarah make sure Marie believe that she was taking her to a show at that venue even though I bought out the entire place just so I could sing Marie the song that I wrote for her and then propose with the ring that Sarah helped me pick out. I also planned to have the band play in the back ground softly while I was purposing. I had been planning this night for over three months. But I wanted everything to be perfect and make sure everything was set up perfectly. Ryan was standing beside me trying to keep me from hyperventilating.

“Need this?” He asked with a smirk on his face. I looked down at his right hand and saw a paper bag. “Haha” I replied dryly. God I need a drink to help these nerves. I looked over at the table in the middle of the floor to make sure the candles were still lit and to make sure the cider and burgers were there. (Our first meal together) now we just have to wait on Marie and Sarah to get here. I join the band on the stage, its five minutes until she’s supposed to get here. I set up and make sure the microphone is working and my guitar is tuned properly for the hundredth time. I see Ryan look down at his phone indicating that Marie is in the parking lot, show time.

Earlier that night

 Marie’s P.O.V

I just got done singing into my hairbrush and dancing around in one of Luke’s t-shirts and my underwear to Set Phasers to Sun by: Taking Back Sunday when Sarah rudely interrupted me and made me get ready to go to this show with her. The reason for my dancing around the condo alone and acting like a fool on a Friday night all alone? Because Luke told me he was working late… again! And what better way to pass the time? But my for some reason my best friend had to go and ruin my karaoke night and drag me to some show that’s at the venue we went to see Luke’s band play is beyond me, but here I am curling my hair and putting on a tight fitting dress with heels, which she picked out because I’m obviously not capable of doing this myself apparently. Heavy sarcasm is used for all of that by the way.

Trust me; I did put up a fight. But trying to do anything that Sarah doesn’t want you to do is just wasting your breath. All you do in the end is doing what she wants. Trust me; I have tried everything to fight her. Sometimes you just have to pick your battles. Anyway, she has been acting strange ever since she came in. God I hope she isn’t pregnant. I just can’t handle two of her. “Hey bitch are you don yet?” She yelled at me from my bed. See that is a good example of why. “Yeah, done. Now stop yelling at me.” I yelled back as I walked back into my bedroom to grab my purse and leather jacket. “Coming?” I asked irritated while stalking out of the room and straight to the front door grabbing my keys on the way.

“So are you going to have an attitude the whole night or…?” Sarah said following closely behind me to keep up with the fast pace I was walking. “No, not once I get payback one of these days.” I said with a smirk on my face as I pushed the elevator down button to take us to the lobby. Sarah sighed and then put her hands on her hips “Good, because I’m just doing this for your own good.  I don’t want you to be one of those girls that just sit around and wait for their man to come home from work and then do anything they say when they get home.” I did a double take. “Umm… Excuse me?” I asked her a bit sharper then I intended. But what she said was uncalled for, I don’t do that.

“You know, those women that wait for their husbands to come home and then once they do they just fall at their feet and do everything they say.” She said looking at me with an innocent look on her face. “You’re such a bitch, I don’t do that. How about you don’t say things you know nothing about!” I said irritated as we got to the lobby. She held her hands up in defense. “Jeeze, sorry. I didn’t know that you would get so offended.” I glared at her and walked faster. But since she has longer legs she keeps up easily. That only irritated me more. God, I just wanted this night to be over so I could go home and chill. Sarah grabbed my arm and made me stop. I glared at her hand and then her face mentally telling her that she needed to let go of me or she would regret it.
