You Look Happier Part 1

Hey guys! I'm finally updating, and this one will be my longest one shot and two parter so far! Special shoutout to usagichan49 for giving me the idea! Sorry it's so long love, but I will post the second part when I get the chance! Also, this is more happier than the others, and there's a mention of Klance, Sheith, and Lancelot. If you do not like the ships please don't comment or give hate to me or the person who came up with this idea. I guess the warning for this is.... MENTIONS OF CUTTING, CHEATING, SWEAR WORDS, AND LOTS OF LANCE CRYING!! Anyways, hope you all enjoy! Also, in case you can't see the song it's Slow It Down by the Lumineers. I suggest you listen to it, but it doesn't have anything to do with this chapter.

Lance POV

I ran down the hallway with the bouquet of flowers I got off the planet we just visited. They were red, blue, and purple, and they were going to my amazing boyfriend! It was already our 5 month anniversary and I wanted to do something special for Keith. He's normally with the BOM but is visiting again like he does once a week and stays for a couple of days. I slowed down when I got to the hallway with the rooms and smiled as I walked to Keith's. I was about to knock on the door when I heard a noise… wait, was that moaning? I slowly opened the door and the sight I saw crushed me completely.

There was Keith and Shiro on the bed, and Shiro was on top of Keith in the middle of a make out session. They soon noticed me and Keith jumped up running over to the door. “L-Lance! I swear it's not was it looks like!” I was heartbroken, and he decided to lie to me as if I didn't just see that.

“Not was I saw my ass Keith! How could you?! I thought you… I thought we had something!” I threw the flowers at him and he caught them. “Happy fucking anniversary!” I said and then stormed out. I ran down the hallway with tears streaming down my face, but I didn't know where I was going. I ended up in a hallway on the other side of the castle, one I don't think people go through a lot.

I learned against the wall and slid down pulling my knees to my chest and burying my face in my arms as I started sobbing. I thought Keith actually liked me, I thought I was enough to actually have a chance with him. I looked down at my wrists to see the faded white lines, 5 months clean, all because of him. I didn't feel like getting up from that spot so I stayed there for who knows how long, and I didn't move until there were no tears left.

I finally got up and looked at the watch on my wrist that was programmed with the castles system, it was almost time for dinner already but I didn't want to go. I started heading the opposite direction planning on skipping dinner when Allura's voice sounded through the sound system. “All paladins please come to the dining room. We have Lotor here and he requested a meeting with us.” I sighed and started to slowly head to the dining room.

I walked in and saw Keith and Shiro looking at me but I looked away and sat next to Hunk when I normally sat next to Keith. They all looked at me before Allura walked in with Lotor following. She looked at me like the others before composing herself. “Good evening Paladins, I'm glad you could all join us for this very important meeting, so don't mess this up, especially Lance.” Ouch, okay that one really hurt.

Lotor looked around then sat at the seat next to Allura's, which happened to be next to mine. Coran came out with the food Hunk made and set it out then sat on the other side of Allura. Everyone started talking and eating, I occasionally looked at Keith who was talking to Shiro. He looked so much happier than when he was with me, why didn't he just end it sooner and I wouldn't have been as upset. I just stayed quiet poking at my food and waiting till I can be dismissed.

After a few minutes I felt a pair of eyes on me and looked around before looking at Lotor who was indeed staring at me. I raised my brows at him and he wore that normal smirk before it dropped as he looked at my plate. “Why don't you eat red paladin? The yellow one must've worked hard, plus it is divine.” I shrugged, I wanted to look away so bad, but I didn't want to get in trouble with Allura. “It's nothing bad, I'm just not hungry is all.”
