This next chilling tale is about a visitor who only comes in the night.
I woke up one morning feeling very fatigued. I felt like I hadn't slept at all. I went to the bathroom as I always do when I first wake up and noticed that my arm was hurting. I looked in the mirror to exam it and noticed bite marks up and down my arm. I lived alone so I was completely in shock. I did not have any way of explaining it. I did not want anyone at work to know so I put on a long sleeve shirt and headed to work.
I came home from work that evening and fell asleep as soon as I sat on my living room sofa. Hours later I awoke once again feeling very fatigued. I looked at my arms right away and this time my other arm was covered in those same bite marks. I stood up and a strange aroma hit my nose. I looked around my house trying to find out where it was coming from but I could not seem to locate it.
I laid back down to rest my eyes and try to make sense of what was happening when I heard something rustling in my kitchen. I sat straight up on my sofa drenched in sweat with my heart pounding. Soon, I heard creaking sounds and screamed as a creature stared at me. I had never seen anything like it before but blood was dripping from its mouth as if had been feeding off of something or someone. I passed out as the creature's fangs pierced my skin. The next morning I awoke. Not only did I have bite marks covering my skin but there was dried blood all over me.
A very ominous feeling came over me. I think the next time I fall asleep will be the last.
