This next chilling tale is about a young nurse who gets quite a scare while having a late night meal.
Sheila was on her break at the hospital having a late night meal. It had taken her six months to get used to how quiet it was at 2 in the morning. She was sitting in the snack area eating when she heard what sounded like the door opening. This would not have made her nervous except that no one usually came through this particular door this late at night.
She watched the doorway to see if anyone came by but no one did. Out of nowhere as she was finishing her meal, the fire alarm went off. Sheila stood up to use the fire exit door but as she walked into the hallway she noticed something very disturbing. It had recently rained and there were fresh muddy footprints in front of the door. Full of fear she went to open the door quickly and something was blocking it. She looked out the door and there was a dead body lying against it.
She covered her mouth to keep from screaming as she heard the coke machine receiving change. She tried to shove the dead body out of the way but before she could a man holding a knife stood in the hallway behind her.
