Klaus felt like he couldn't breathe, although a part of his brain insisted that this was supposed to happen in the future, he couldn't stand the thought of Caroline being hurt, or worse, dead. Gone, forever.

"How is it then that you managed to escape without a scratch?" Kol spoke, once again intrigued by the survival skills of the young brunette. She really had to be powerful to pull something like that off.

Alex looked at Rebekah briefly and then lowered her stare.

"I had been working on a way to travel to the past when they took my mother, so I just used that when the time came."

"You were going to leave me?" Rebekah asked in a low voice, almost inaudible.

"I just wanted to meet them." Alex justified her actions. "There is so much I don't know about our family and I know it's because of their death." She said pointing at Klaus and Elijah.

"But what you've done is dangerous Alexandra, it can drastically change the course of things, disrupt the future." Said Freya, who had been eerily silent the whole time.

"Oh, I'm counting on it. I will do anything to save my mother." She said looking towards Rebekah, whose face softened immediately.

"Then we'll help you." Hope decided and all the adults turned to look at her in disbelief. Making her then roll her eyes. "If I have to spell it out for you all, I will: You want to save Davina, you Keelin, you Marcel" She said pointing at Kol, Freya, and Rebekah herself respectively. "I'd honestly prefer it if Landon didn't die, you dad, would do anything to save Caroline, Elijah you will do whatever is in your power to keep the family safe and together, and I can't believe I have to even explain this out loud, we'd all be doing this to save aunt Rebekah here. So yes, whatever it is that you need us to do Alexandra, we will be doing." Hope said, making Alex smile.

The brunette looked at everyone in the room and they all looked solemn, but also determined. She had finally gotten the support she needed to make her plans become a reality.

"It has been a long day, so I would say that we meet again tomorrow to discuss the plan, okay?" Alex said and after getting nods from everyone, she prepared herself to leave.

"Wait." She heard her favorite blonde say. "Where are you going?"

"I booked a hotel for the night, I don't want to intrude." Alex simply explained.

"Nonsense. You will stay here tonight." Klaus announced and Alexandra raised an eyebrow at him. Was he really trying to tell her what to do?

"What he means, is that you are a Mikaelson, and you don't need to stay somewhere else, this is your home too." Hope explained, and the look in her eye told Alex that she really wanted her to stay the night.

"I would also like to have a special breakfast in your honor Alexandra." Elijah added. "To thank you for saving this family." He said referring to what she'd accomplished that night.

"I wouldn't celebrate something that hasn't happened yet. But I'd love to finally try some Beignets." She said with a soft smile, deciding that she would stay, after all, one of her goals was to get to know her family better.

"It's settled then. Dearest sister, I'm sure you can help her in picking a room." Klaus said and then whispered something in Hope's ear before they both disappeared upstairs.

Keelin and Freya excused themselves pretty soon after and Kol mumbled something about how far the bloody airport was before scurrying out to get Davina. Elijah said he had someone he wanted to visit and Marcel asked if he could hitch a ride with him, leaving only Rebekah and Alexandra in the room.
