"Please Keelin...I just want to..." The young girl pleaded to her aunt but was interrupted.

"I know you have the best intentions Alex, I really do. But right now, is not the best time."

"She's still that mad, huh?" Alex said deflated. Keelin didn't have to say anything at all for her to understand that was exactly the case.

"It's a lot to process..." The werewolf said sadly, and the witch's heart started hurting for her aunts. She hated to see them suffer.

"I'm sorry Keelin...I really am. I just thought it would be best hearing it from family, than finding out yourselves..."

"And we really appreciate that, I promise you, we both do. But that doesn't make it any easier to hear." Keelin said softly. "It took Freya a long time to accept that we were going to be mothers, and now...Well...Now I just don't know." Her voice broke and Alex had to work really hard not throw herself at her aunt and hug her with all her might as they both started crying right then and there. But she knew she had to be strong, for all of them. That was exactly why she was there. To help them. "I think...I think it's best if you just go." Keelin whispered, earning another pained look from her niece.

"I wish there was more I could do..." The girl said and tried to give her a small smile, although she wasn't sure it worked at all.

"You've done enough." Freya interrupted their little conversation, making Keelin tense up and Alex just cringed at her tone.

"Listen Freya, I..."

"Just go." Her aunt said with the same cold tome and Alex knew it was time, but before she walked off, she took a deep breath and prepared herself to say what she had come all the way to say.

"You know what? I'm really sorry about what happened, or will happen to the two of you. I truly am. And you can blame me, if you want. If that will make you feel better about the whole situation, go ahead, blame it on me. I can take it. But while you're hating on me for being a bitch and telling you about an upcoming betrayal with the purpose of saving you from feeling all the pain at the same time, remember that the lives of our whole family are at stake. You might not like me at all, and I guess I can respect and even live with that. But I still need your help to save our family." Alex said heatedly and then looked at Keelin. "I need both of you."

After that, the girl just left them standing on the door of their apartment. The pain and doubt still lingering in the air.

"Everybody ready?" Alex found herself standing in the middle of the Mikaelson compound at five o'clock in the afternoon with pretty much all of her family members standing around her...Still no sign of Freya or Keelin.

"As ready as we'll ever be." Caroline said, and couldn't help herself but smile melancholically. The whole situation reminded her of the days her and her friends would scheme together.

"Please do elaborate love, what is your grand plan to get us all out of here unnoticed?" Klaus asked for the thousandth time. This time, Alex was the one to smile.
