4 Home (R)

We grabbed our pizza sat on our hotel room floor and talked half the night after facetiming with Noah. We wound up curled up asleep on the opposite sides of an empty pizza box on the floor of our hotel room. I woke up too early to go to the airport and laughed her awake. "Go to bed. We got a few hours left before we can leave. That's not your bed, dork." I groaned as a completely asleep Marisa climbed up in my bed. I climbed in hers instead. I didn't sleep well and was still relatively awake when our alarms went off. "Hey, girl get up. I want to get home."

"You're so demanding in the morning. How the hell does Lizzie even put up with you?"
"I honestly don't know. Get moving grumpy pants. I'm hungry and needing my girl, so let's go. Get a move on will ya?" She grumbled some more at me and got up and ready to head home. We ate on the way to the airport. I was tired and excited. I was going home to my Lizzie.
"Avi?" Marisa sat next to me on the plane.
"Yeah?"
"Two things. Next time let's drive. It'll be fun. And, when are you going to let Lizzie tell her friends about the two of you?"
"Oh, God. You too?" She gave me the death glare. "I hate it when you look at me that way."
"Boy, you are so wrapped up in her and she in you. I mean seriously, you have got to know by now."
"You're killing my mood. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Can we change the subject? Please?" She chose to talk about something else and I fell asleep on her shoulder for the duration of our flight. When we landed I fought the urge to rush off the plane. I grabbed my guitar and headed up the breezeway to the exit.

I woke up early, to leave early, to beat traffic. I found a charm bracelet in my small collection of jewelry that had bells on it and put it on. I got to the airport and parked and made my way to his gate. His flight had not landed yet, so I got a cup of tea and found a seat where he should see me easily. I had no idea how he would greet me. The airport was kind of quiet and I was very antsy to see my boyfriend.

I saw her before she saw me. Noah was a little ways away from her and I was honestly shocked that she didn't see him. It was amazingly quiet, but at LAX it was still busy. I wanted to run to her and pick her up and spin her around and kiss her deeply. There were too many people around for me to be comfortable doing that. It wasn't going to happen, surprisingly, that made me a little sad. Marisa had grabbed my hand and I hadn't even noticed. I don't think she did either. She squeezed it tight and let it go when Lizzie and Noah both looked up at us. Noah smiled and seemed to laugh though I had no idea why. I looked at him briefly. I could vaguely see him shaking his head at me. Then he seemed to get lost in all things Marisa and the world was right as she became a blur to me caught up in him. I got lost in all things Lizzie. It all made me smile grow.

I looked up to see Marisa drop Avi's hand. I frowned slightly but smiled again when I met Avi's eyes. I raised my arm and waved, my bracelet ringing brightly. I giggled at our little inside joke and stood up and started moving towards him. I resisted the urge to run to him and I eventually just stopped and waited for him to get to me.

"Hi." I took her wrist and jingled it. "Not exactly what I was thinking, but so much more classy." I pulled her into a hug that lasted a little longer than I would give someone I didn't know then held onto her wrist and hand. It was very anticlimactic for me. I wished getting past that anxiety was easier for me. I wanted to be in her arms and to kiss her senseless. It was the greeting she deserved, but there was no way for me to force myself to be that open about anything that deeply personal in public. It just wasn't going to happen. I hated myself for that. "Lunch or home?"

"Home. We can order in." I lead him out to the car. The conversation was minimal, which is not out of the norm for us. We made it home in surprisingly good time. I needed to get him behind a closed door. I just did.

We were home and I was excited all over again. "I missed you so much." I squeezed her hand and made move to get out of the car. "Let's get inside, where we can be alone." I opened her car door, grabbed my bag out of the trunk and took her hand again as we walked to our door. I smiled at her and stepped out of the way for her to open the door though I had my keys. There was just something about her having a key to that door that drove me crazy. All I could think about was connecting to her and then snuggling and maybe we'd get some food in there.

I was ready for that alone time. Once we were behind that closed door, all bets were off and so were my shoes. I waited for him to put his bags down and I was in his arms with mine around his neck. I pressed my lips to his before he could speak.

The same sense of urgency and need had a hold of her as did me. My bag hit the floor moments before her lips hit mine. I grabbed her hips first and kissed her dizzy then picked her up and backed her into the door. Her legs wrapped around my waist as she clung to me. I kissed her until I couldn't breathe. I smiled and press my forehead to hers for a moment, "I'm home. I need you. I love you so much." I kissed her hungrily. I was ready to dive in, but hesitant after the last time we tried to be together. I had her where I wanted her and was more than ready but the next move had to be hers to decide.

I knew he was hesitant after last time so I found his eyes. "Please. I love you and need you too." I practically begged him.

I kissed her and again and dove right into the urgency we were both feeling. Shirts were off and clothes were on the floor in a crazy pile in a matter of moments as my hands and mouth consumed her. My jeans found their way to my ankles and hers to that pile of clothing. I picked her back up and pushed her against the door. If it was cold she gave no indication of caring or noticing. I growled and shifted and found my way into her with a deep moan. The pace was fast, hard and heavy and precisely what was needed.

Clothes started disappearing and there were hungry hands and mouths everywhere. The door was cold, but I didn't care. I wrapped my legs around his waist and scratched at his back and shoulders. I couldn't get enough of his mouth. I gave him his name as often as I could. This was us. This was perfect.

We were a sweating panting mess by the time we both let go. I smiled and stepped back to let her feet touch the floor. I didn't have the strength I needed in me to carry her so I pulled her down to the floor with me and cuddled her as close as I could get her. I wrapped myself around her, kissed the top of her head and promptly fell asleep; comfortable, happy satiated and warm right there on the floor just on the other side of our door. I just needed a nap.

I let him pull me into him as we both drifted off to sleep while catching our breath. I woke up a bit later, freezing, hungry, and in need of the bathroom. I slipped out of his grasp and ran to the bathroom. I took care of business and wrapped myself in a blanket. I headed back to the living room to wake him for a shower and food.

I woke chilled, naked, alone, and slightly aroused on the floor. I sat up and looked myself over. I couldn't help but laugh. "Guess I'm not that cold."

He was sitting up when I got there. "Can I interest you in a hot shower and a warm meal?" I opened my blanket up to him.

I stood up and grinned. "Yes, please. What order?" I moved toward her and stepped into her arms.

I wrapped my arms around him. "Order food. Shower. Eat when it gets here?"

"Deal. You order while I go to the bathroom before I can't." I wiggled out of her arms and kissed her quickly. "Surprise me." I ran off down the hall and to the bathroom naked as the day I was born to the sound of her laughter. "I'll start the water."

I giggled, ordered burgers and fries to be delivered in 45 minutes, and made my way to the bathroom to enjoy that shower.
