Seora got up from her bed, she sat on it, staring at the wall in front of her. Her mind had been repeatedly replaying the scene where the two almost kissed, she was acting like a child but she couldn't control herself.
The princess had so many questions to herself, to him specifically. Was he being sincere? Was it a test? What would've happened if they truly kissed? Would she regret? Would he hate her if he knew who she was?
Of course, all of them were left unanswered. She decided to head out of her room, be it nighttime she needed some air. As she opened the door to her room, she found Hayoung standing there, about to knock.
"Oh? What's the matter?" She asked the child, crouching down to meet her eyes. "I can't sleep, I need your bedtime stories." She said. Seora invited her in as the two lied down on her bed.
At least, the princess would be preoccupied than thinking about the male all night. "Bedtime stories...let's see." She wondered aloud, with Hayoung next to her, ready to fall asleep.
"Tell me about your prince again."
Seora paused momentarily before chuckling. "You really adore the prince, don't you?" She asked and her mine travelled to whatever stories she hasn't tell Hayoung yet. She knew she wasn't supposed to tell anyone that she was a princess but Hayoung was smart, she somehow knew and there was no way she could lie. Besides, it would be harmless anyway, no one believed a word from children.
"You see, I love the colour red so much and it differed from him, he loves blue. He told me red was too vibrant, too attracting and he didn't like how people would stare because of the colour."
She started, reminiscing made the princess felt close to home, the only way she would never forget about it. "So, I told my father to make him get me the rarest item of a blue colour, since he loved it so much." She continued.
"And he said 'Oh, that would be no problem, Your Majesty.'" She mocked his voice.
"He took three days to bring it. He had to go through waters, fight with wild animals when he travelled in order for him to get me a pearl, in which he made into a ring." Seora said, she took out a ring under her pillow and showed it to the little girl.
It was their engagement ring, a very special one. Only sadly, she couldn't wear it anymore. Seora appreciated the gift very much, as she received it from him she couldn't say no at all. She was very touched with his effort and instantly fell for his charms.
"Woah!" Hayoung exclaimed and reached out for it. She examined the ring, mesmerising its beauty. "Why don't you wear it?" She asked. "I'm hiding from him remember? If I wear it, it'll be easy to find me." The princess took the ring and replied.
Hayoung nodded in amazement. "I want to meet him." She said, she admire the prince from her stories so much. "Maybe one day." Seora smiled.

It was the first time he walked so leisurely around town, usually on his day off Doyoung would spend time in his room, sleeping or reading but lately, he had been under so much pressure to help the prince.
All the pressure put upon him was done by himself, he found it rather stressful how the princess could disappear without him managing to trace her at all. He used to be a great hunter, but his skills seemed to have fall apart. That was what stressed him out.
Even on the last day of weekdays, he found the town to be busy as always. There was always so many people around the many shops there. He didn't know if they were out to buy for a need or simply to fulfil their greed.
Doyoung decided to stop by the bookstore, he needed a new journal, there was a lot for him to keep track about this mission, he needed every single details he could gather so that he could match up with every event that has taken place and hopefully discovering where the princess might be.
As he arrived at the counter, he saw no one to attend him, but eventually a male came.
"Eun— nevermind."
Doyoung heard him sighed with a small smile before turning back to him. "Yes, how can I help you?" He asked. Doyoung thought it was peculiar how he had never met this guy before. He had seen everyone in town, though he never knew their names but he knew all the familiar faces, but not this one.
Yuta could say the opposite. He had never seen this guy before him until the day at the castle, where the maid told the prince about the princess' death. He assumed this guy might be the prince's bodyguard. It would be a lie to say he wasn't nervous, but he had to pretend.
He was certain this male had never seen him before, Yuta was a ghost after all.
"I'm in need of a journal." Doyoung replied, his eyes never leaving the male, somehow curious about him. He had an uneasy aura given off and Doyoung knew to always trust his instincts, but then again, he didn't like to overreact without proof.
"Right this way." Yuta led the man towards the specific section before leaving him on his own. He wanted to find Eunmi, the girl kept on disappearing when it comes to discovering something new.
Doyoung decided to let the man go, he had no reason to suspect him of anything. He couldn't just arrest someone because he felt like it, he had no authority. Besides, it was impossible for him to have anything to do with the princess' disappearance, the information he gathered showed nothing about the princess having an affair.
"Yuta, can you hel—"
Seora almost stumbled upon the customer standing in her way. She apologised quickly, not bothering to look up as she was in a rush.
Doyoung was stunned, he knew the face so well but he didn't get a good look. It took him too long to react as the girl vanished before his eyes. He was certain that he saw the princess but then again it made no sense for her to work in town. If she wanted to hide, she wouldn't dare to stand in such obvious spot.
In the end, he stared at the journal he obtained before deciding to buy it. He needed to see her once more to confirm that it might be the princess. Though impossible, this might be his only lead.

Seora's heart almost stopped when she bumped into the bodyguard. The moment she saw a glimpse of his face, she knew immediately it was the prince's right hand man.
Unknowingly, she kept on touching her birthmark in which she had covered. It wasn't enough, she thought to herself. The princess stared at her reflection in the mirror, she was alone in her bedroom, she had to do something or she would get caught so easily.
She stared for a while until an idea came to her. She trimmed her hair a little and dyed it black. Hiding off the brunette colour, she cut it off slightly so it appeared shorter than before. Again, she had to remind herself to conceal her birthmark before going out.
