3 months went by, a lot was changing. The flowers had bloom. The season took change, summer wad coming. Ever since then, the princess tried to make a better of her living.

The palace hadn't announce her return yet, it was supposed to be weeks after the execution but then things got mixed up. Eventually, they came to a decision to announce her return as well as her marriage with Taeyong.

In which sadly, she didn't want.

Though she had embraced the fact that Yuta was no longer with her, she still couldn't open herself to accept anyone else, not even the prince she used to love. Seora didn't know why, she just couldn't.

Every time she tried convincing herself to love again, she couldn't. She would always find herself back to the moments she shared with Yuta, the forbidden love they had.

On the day of the announcement, Seora didn't show up. At first the court panicked if she might ran away again but it turned out she didn't. The prince found her inside her chamber, she looked weak and she was sweating. She vomited frequently and they were all afraid that someone might try to poison her.

The result came out with Taeyong knowing it first from the physician. He was astonished by the news. Exasperated would be the right word to describe his feelings, he wanted to be angry but he couldn't because he knew it was partly his fault.

"Am I going to die?"

Seora joked as Taeyong walked into her room, closing the door behind him, leaving the two of them together as he sat at the edge of her bed. However, the prince couldn't bring himself to laugh. His heart was unsettled, and it was going to be difficult for him to swallow the truth.

The princess noticed the fallen expression he had, she grew nervous out of a sudden. She wasn't afraid of death but somehow she was scared to hear if it was true.

She forced herself to sit on her bed and moved a little closer to him. Her stomach wasn't hurting anymore and she felt much better than earlier in the morning. It had been days since she kept vomiting.

"You have a child."

Then silence came. Seora was too surprised to acknowledge it. She couldn't deny, she knew well whose child she was carrying. The guilt was eating her alive, she couldn't believe she was this reckless. If anything, Taeyong should've found out from her, not from the physician.

Seora knew she had to tell him, even after months of lying and giving him hope of them being together, she knew she had to tell him one day. "Taeyong," she called but the prince was silent.

The princess inhaled deeply. "I'm very sorry." She said. "I have no excuse towards you and I can only tell you the truth." She added. "I cannot marry you." Seora wanted to cry, it explained everything, her condition was always strange, her moods were always changing but yet she suspected nothing.

"It's the assassin, isn't it?" He asked and the princess weakly nodded, she couldn't bring herself to look at him. She was embarrassed. The prince was correct the whole time, he had expected it but he was still sad the fact that she was still in love with him.

"A heart like his, he fits to be a king."

As he said it, Seora couldn't contain herself from crying. "No, don't say that." She cried. "Only you deserve the throne, you and no one else." "You are brave, kind, intelligent, you are perfect to rule." She held onto his face with both of her hands.

"I was also too late for you." He chuckled lightly. It was bitter for him to swallow. It was his turn to hold her hands. "I knew the moment you returned something was making you unhappy." He started.
