"Why did you return?"

At the question, Yuta was taken aback. He didn't know he'd be caught by the queen so easily. "I had to confirm her identity myself. The portrait." He said, explaining the commotion both he and Seora had caused at the palace.

"Very well then." The other male said. "The queen specifically wanted you to eliminate her soon." He said which caused the male to feel uneasy about the order.

He knew very well that had been his only task since the beginning, but he once failed to locate her and now he had no other lies to cover it up.

Yuta felt that he was the one to blame for unveiling her identity. It was a mistake bringing the princess with him to town, especially the palace. Though he didn't know that she was the princess in the first place, but now he brought upon them great danger, upon her.

In his head, he thought of every circumstances, every situation he could come up with to escape the fate of having to kill her.

"However, she specifically reminded that it would not be now. That you would have to wait until a further notice." The male said. "What do you mean?" Yuta asked, the order was vague, something he had never received before.

Perhaps, the queen knew? He was scared of the thought, yes he was afraid. Having the ruthless queen to know about their feelings for one another was far more dangerous. She would've kill her in an instant, or do something beyond his imagination.

The male took a sip from his cup, before flashing a sinister smile. "You'll know the cue." He said before standing up. Yuta followed after the man and only then, they both walked out of his house.

As he felt slightly relieved that the man was finally leaving, Yuta thought about seeing Seora instantly that night. However, he had his thoughts interrupted when the male pointed a sword to his neck.

"Do not betray the Queen." He warned, he looked right in his eyes. Yuta knew who he was, the fact that he found out later was something he blamed himself as well.

He thought Seora did a great job disguising as the male never acted, but it was only now he realised he was caught in the queen's little trap. She kept tabs on him, he was never truly released from her. Now, hopefully, this would be his final task, truly.

"Don't scream."

Yuta placed a hand over her mouth. He knew he was scaring her, but he had to make her stay. He wanted to tell her everything, but it was a complicated situation as Seora seemed to have known who he is beforehand.

The princess was thinking of ways to escape, being in a room with her assassin was already a terrifying thought. She tried not to shiver, but even so she failed to be afraid of him.

She knew how much of a warm person she was, and even now, she couldn't believe that he would actually harm her. However, she hoped she was wrong. At least, if she had to protect herself she wouldn't feel sorry to harm him.

"I don't want to hurt you." Yuta said. It broke her, he might be the person she mistook him for all along. Yuta couldn't find anything else to say, he was at lost for words when he saw her walking out of the bathroom.

He lost all the plans he made in the first place, all he knew is that he wanted to save her from the queen. But even now, he was just mesmerised by her.

Seora looked at him, he was dressed in black. A colour she rarely saw on him. He was never portrayed as someone who had secrets, he seemed normal to her from the start. However, this person right before her eyes was different, he was someone she was unsure of.

As he pinned her against the wall, he found himself leaning down to her. At the moment, he could only think of so as he knew his words would mean nothing but a threat to her. This was his only way to show that he was indeed sincere about her.

Seora whom at first was denying, ended up giving into the kiss. She sighed against his lips, a sign of relief she wasn't intending to show in the first place. The girl placed her hands on his chest to keep him at bay as he started to deepen the kiss.

However, Yuta ignored her gesture and positioned his hands at her lower back, pulling her closer in the process. "Don't—" she never get to finish her sentence as his lips crashed on hers yet again.

The two found themselves intoxicated by each other's touch and the long kiss they've been waiting for. At least, at the moment, Seora chose to forget that he would kill her. She chose to believe that he would never do so, she didn't even have prove that he knew who she was.

She wrapped one arm around his neck and the other tethered into the lock of his hair. His kisses travelled from her lips, to her jaw then down to her neck. He tilted his head and kissed the back of her ear, right where her birthmark was.

The spot truly weakened her and she knew it was too late for her to go back. She whimpered at his touch and found herself wanting for more.

"Seora..." he whispered in her ear as he continued to capture her lips, giving her no chance to reply. He tugged the sash that she wore around the waist of her robe. She found as if time moved slowly as he pulled the sash undone, revealing her bare skin.

The girl gripped on his hair as he continued to leave kisses on her bare skin. She heaved a sigh at each touch. It only drove him mad at the touch as he pushed her down to the duvet. He managed to steal a look into her eyes, he knew then he would never harm her.

He had to protect her even if it meant to trade his life for hers.

It wasn't too long until the two found themselves latched on one another, leading each other into the night. As morning would come, the two had no idea what fate awaits them.
