Lavi's POV

The next week in school was pretty much the same. Exam was still ongoing but they was something different about this day.

Words seem to be going from mouth to ear and I don't want to even know why because it's pretty obvious.

Katherine is pregnant and everyone knows!

"Hey man! What are you doing out here?" Asked James

"Nothing! Just waiting" I answered not paying attention to him

I was indeed waiting for Katherine. I saw her going into the principal office earlier with obi by her side and I can't even begin to imagine why.

I haven't even had a chance to speak with her all weekend and now that she is here; she is back at the principal office talking about God knows what!

Christ!

"Are you waiting for Katherine or obi to beat him up again?" He asked with a bit of humor playing at his tone.

"Why would I do that man? Everyone knows he's a shit face but beating him up? I don't see why" I shrugged.

He shoulder bumped me as he continued to chuckle like a maniac..."you think I don't know? See this guy o" all five fingers pointed at me.

"What are you talking about?" Raising my eye brow at his absurdity.

"You fighting obi and all? You think I don't know why?"

James seem pretty convinced with whatever he was referring to with that serious look in his eyes.

"I don't know what you have heard and from whom so whatever it's; I don't know and point of correction man. Obi came at me not the other way round and still got his arse kicked either way" smiling at the memory of my fist breaking his nose.

"Maybe you're right but it still doesn't change the fact that he got the upper hand right now" with a thoughtful look and that tone of voice that am beginning to hate.

"Do you care to elaborate your point exactly? Because it obvious you know something that I don't so out with it"

"Well am referring to the fact that obi got your girlfriend pregnant man" he shrugged again.

Blink!

Blink again!

Wait for it!

"Where did you hear that rubbish from?" My voice a silent growl.

"He confessed to her dad last week when he came looking for answers"

"No he did not" shaking my head in an attempt to deny the falsity of the word he just uttered cos it can't be truth. I mean he can't be that stupid can he?
