Chapter thirty two

I was already dressed in my trouser pant and t-shirt and collected the mess Lavi made on the floor earlier by the time he walked back in and sat across me on the stool.

"Are you feeling better now?" His eyes searching mine closely.

"Compared to earlier? I'd say am better" tucking a strand of loose hair resting on my face back into the bun on my head.

"You sure look and sound better comparing to how terrible you were when I came in earlier" he teased.

"That's because I was feeling absolutely terrible when you showed up like some Romeo! What if someone had seen you?"

"Well no one saw me come in except for the gate man of course and he isn't much of a problem you know? I think he likes me" tapping at his cheek with a silly grin on his face.

"Since when did you two become such good buddies?" With my brow raised at the explanation he was willing to give.

"Since today I guess? He didn't object when I told him I was here to see you" he shrugged.

"Don't you think it's because he recognized you from before?"

"I think it has something to do with my charms cos even you fell for it"

"I see but I don't think my dad will fall under the charm of someone that sneaks around his daughter's room behind his back when he is not home you know?" Teasing him further.

"I'm sure your father will understand that his daughter has robbed me of my own little heart and am left with nothing but my guts  which has led me to seek you out in a time like this because that is something that can't be broken. it's never afraid of anything or anyone" he countered back with a smirk.

"Such heroic speech you have going on my darling but tell you what? My dad is already out of town right now so maybe you should save it until when he demands for it"

The look he gave me after saying those words was flattering as he moved closer and sat beside me on the bed,his hand pushing my hair behind my ear.

"W-what are you doing?" I shuttered

"Do you think your dad will hate me more if I hug you right now?"

"What?"

"Because I might be tempted to kiss you while at it but only if you will let me" his eyes boring into mine as he moved closer by the second.

"Is that all you wanna do to me?" My voice suddenly reduced into a whisper.

"Would you like me to do something else?"

My throat has suddenly gone dry and I couldn't make out a single word as I stared at him with my heart racing all over the globe in a bit of frenzy.

His lips claiming mine are the only thing pulling me out of my delusional state as my hand snake around his neck to pull him closer. He nimble and pulled at my lower lip and held it slightly between his teeth as he teased and moan against my mouth. All the butterflies in my stomach were on full parade at this point pushing me deeper into the fluttering feeling waving right inside of me.
