Chapter 7

Sal's POV

As soon as we had gotten out of the school zone Larry grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers, I blushed and looked up at him

"So Sal..."

"Yes, Baby?" I responded getting a chuckle out of him

"I'm taking you on a date tonight so be ready at 5 and dress warmly"

I smiled to myself, a date???? Yessssssssssss

Time skip—

Larry's POV

I'm finally taking him on a date...wow I can't believe it. I laughed out of excitement,

I stepped into my room and shut the door, I pulled out my set clothes, it was a button up black short sleeved shirt and a blue bow tie, with some nice jeans.

I set out my hair stuff and I headed to the bathroom.

I lock the door and turn on the shower, and as I step into the warm water I can't help but think of if Sal would like the date

Sal's POV

"Yess!" I yell jumping onto my bed, I smile and laugh as the bed springs creak,

"Wait!"

I spring up and run to my closet, what will I wear?

I look through the clothes quickly and stop on one blushing, maybe he'll like it? I bite my lip as I pull it out, I grab a black long sleeved shirt and some leggings,

I undress and pull on the leggings and shirt, I grab the soft pink high waisted skirt and stare at myself in the mirror, I blush and undo my ponytail putting up my hair into a bun.

I strap on my prosthetic and sit and wait anxiously

Author's POV

Larry nervously knocked on the small boys door, holding roses with a big grin on his face. After a minute and small blue boy opens the door shyly.

Larry's eyes widen and he blushes

"Wow you look..." he tries to form the words

Sal unclips the bottom strap and lifts it up to kiss his cheek and clips it back again

"You look great" what Sal said was true, Larry did look great, he even did his hair and he smelled like mangos

Larry blushes and puts a hand on the back of his neck, he holds out the flowers for Sal

"Oh! These are for you!" His voice cracks a bit, Sal smiled and took them, "thank you, Baby" Sal responded, he gave Larry a wink and quickly put them in water

Larry held out his hand for Sal, the small boy took it and blushed. As Larry lead them down the hall and to the elevator, Sal Ran his thumb over Larry's Knuckles. Larry's hand was much bigger than Sal's, and warmer, and more calloused, and usually covered in marker or paint.

The two boys hand in hand stood in the elevator, Sal leaned his head on Larry, the classical music of the elevator gave a calming sense for them.

Larry's smile widened, he was on his first date with the one he loved, though he felt bad he couldn't take the smaller boy on an actual date. They got off on the top floor, Larry lead him up to the roof.

It was a beautiful starry night, there were candles laid out across the roof top, they step towards the small blanket, it held a radio two plates and a basket.

Sal was speechless, Larry really did all of this for him, the view of the night sky was beautiful, and the candles really set a calm mood, it was a bit chilly but that's why they brought jackets. This was like something out of a dream for Sal.
