Chapter 4 Oakland High

500k followers seriously! And no shirtless pictures. What?? I am so confused. And lots of pictures professionally taken and pictures with some girls, but doesn't look like he is not dating currently. So my route is clear. With these thoughts still in my mind I drift to the dreamland.

Morning

My god I am going to break my phone. My mom screams "Savannah if you don't get up now then, Say bye bye to the first day of school, the school bus is going to leave in 20 minutes. I jump of the bed and start multitasking.

Good for me that I already had the 1st day clothes ready. I am outside I throw an apple into the bag and rush out of the house. Still hearing to my mom's taunts that I am not eating proper breakfast and all that jazz.

I get out the house and start sprinting out of the house like a mad person. Just then I was about to fall face into a puddle. The fence stabilized me, but I was met with a roaring laughter. I turned towards the sound and see it's Jacob.

He was laughing so bad, I was very embarrassed but seeing him laughing and hearing that beautiful sound, I didn't even notice that he asked me a question and it also striked I am going to leave the bus on the very 1st day.

So without even thinking I start sprinting towards the bus stop but I hear Jacob chucking and asking me "Hey Savannah I asked you something. And I guess the bus left so...should I give you a ride?" 

I am so confused am I hearing things, what did he just ask me for a ride??

He was standing there waiting for a reply. And I didn't want to seem so desperate so I say "Are you sure, I don't want to be a bother?"
He says "Do you have any other person to ride you to school?"

I thought for a while my mom nah she will kill me all along the ride with her taunts, my dad he is off to some place for work 2 hours ago.

So I really didn't have a choice plus I didn't want to leave the chance as well. So acting all cool at least according to me I say "I would love to".

Ok officially the most awkward ride I have ever been. What are you supposed to do when you are in a car with your crush and all you want to do is jump on him. But that's not creepy at all.

So I just simply sit controlling my hands and look forward and he asks me "So you want some music?" I nod my head and he starts the player it was my favorite song There's nothing holding me back by my love of my life Shawn Mendes.

And all the thoughts of awkwardness was out of mind and I started singing 1st in low voice and the chorus comes in I couldn't hold myself and started singing out loud.

After the song was over I open my eyes the 1st thing see Jacob' s beautiful face with shock and some unreadable expression and we were both looking into each other.

Until a random dude knocked the window and I looked outside and I noticed that we were in the school and I say "Oh, looks like I was too into the music, my bad. Sorry I got a little overboard."

He just smiled and said "Nah it was my pleasure". I get down and start walking with a big smile on my face.

And I see everyone's eyes were on me. I hear Jacob saying "We don't get often new people here, so bear the questioning glances. If you want I can introduce officially in the cafeteria in the break".

Oh damn that's so sweet of him, I look up at him and smile and say "That would be great."

Oh damn, yellow lockers and people were flooding the corridors with curiosity etched on their faces. See I am not a big fan of attention. Plus with me looking like a panda, I know they say you must love yourself.

And thank all gods that I have never been bullied or questioned about my weight but I am still insecure about walking in the hallway with people looking at me from all sides.

I turn around to find Jacob. But I see him talking to the guy who came earlier broke our trance. Oh don't worry I will go into that beautiful moment.

But now I have to know "where is the office room?"
I ask a random girl, she has brown hair and classic blue jeans with white tucked in shirt.

She turns to me and gives me a big smile and say "Oh you are the new girl, hey, how are ya? Want some help?" I say back "Yea, I am little lost, I want to find the office room where can I find it?"

She says "Sure, I will guide you" and I start walking through the hallways, with the thoughts of so far 1st day of school is good. Slowly did I come to know, it wasn't going to last longer!
