Chapter 38 Forgiving

It's really weird to see rich people being so normal. I am not judging them but just that seeing Justin's face full of chocolate and Sarah trying to pry away the chocolate bar from him. By doing that her hoodie which is white sadly gets stained.

But seeing her least bothered about it and Mr. Brown giving small chuckles and glances to his left occasionally, just makes me to wonder. We all see these celebrities and rich people in tv and news, we have somewhere or the other have formed these preconceived thoughts about them and their attitude.

But that's normal tendency I guess, I shrug my shoulders which are kind of seemed caught in some weird place. This action of mine gets noticed by Jacob, who moves away a bit far. I am serious if he continues to do that in the end of the journey his left side is going to be complete numb.

Really not thinking, I place my hands on his lap. He suddenly looks up to me. I take my hand like I touched fire. He still continues to look at me in confusion. I take my phone out and type him a message.

"I am sorry, I am stupid!"

I hear a ping and he shuffles to take out his phone and then looks at the message having a small smile. I expected him to type in his phone but he just hugs me out of nowhere. I get shocked is an understatement.

I feel my eyes get teared up a little, I weirdly smell his scent. He mumbles, "Sav you should not apologise it's me who has to, I am so sorry!"

He huffs into my hair and then look back and says, "Damn how many days it has been since you washed your hair?"

I couldn't help to punch his shoulder. We both are smiling like crazy, that's when Ethan taps my shoulder and whispers, "All cool I guess?"

I nod and lean onto his shoulder. I look up to see Sarah looking via the rear view mirror smiling. I just blush and close my eyes, snuggling into a uncomfortable but a needed nap.

I get up with some light falling on my face, I shield my eyes and open to see Jacob waving his phone in front of eyes. I get up suddenly but I feel I can't move, that's when I notice Jacob's hand is embracing me.

I blush and look around to see the car empty. Snuggling into him and he also mumbles something which I don't catch, I ask, "Hey! Where is everyone?"

He mumbles again and I look up to see him and the next thing I know a pair of lips crashes onto my crusty ones. Not believing what's happening I kiss him back with the same force.

It was not as again very magical as they showed in movies, it was same like how I was kissing Ethan. But just that it felt very real and right. It just felt perfect to be embraced by him and him kissing me gently and softly.

After some minutes of going on and off from our mini make out sessions. We both were panting and with swollen lips, we were so giddy that we didn't hear the family entering the car. Shortly followed by Ethan, I look up to him and he just gets it in the instant he saw me.

I try to move from Jacob's embrace but not that I didn't wanted to be engulfed by his scent. Just that I felt weird around his parents, but his grip just tightens.

He whispers into my ears, "Sav, don't move too much ok?"

Initially I didn't get it but I slowly feel something in my back, that's when I jump and his grip loosens. I scream, "I want to use the loo!"

That's when Mr. Brown was just about to start the car, he shakes his head and I hit Ethan to scoot over and I jump out. The relief that washed over me was so good. Breathing fresh air cleansed my being.

I suddenly wander off, then I remember I told them I will use the loo. Before I could ask anyone where it is. I see Jacob out of the car as well, instantly I increase my speed and start running to the loo.

But suddenly I am held back by a hand on my hips, next thing I know I am crashed onto a hard body.

"Where are you running away babe?"

The hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I felt like a electric shock just passed over my body. In a swift motion I am turned and my lips gets yet again locked with amazing pair of his.

After being lost in the blissful kiss, we both slowly stop it and catch our breath, when I say softly, "Jacob, I am.."

He shushes me by his finger on my lips. I just smile and act as if I was going to bite it. I turn away and start walking to the car.

I hear him walking back of me silently, he comes slowly and intwines our hands. We walk silently but peaceful silence to the car.

I am again met with three pairs of eager eyes looking at all our actions. After we get in, Jacob says, "We are done, start the car dad!"

I smile and snuggle onto his shoulder. I look up to him and say, "We gotta talk after we reach there ok?"

He nods his head and looks outside the window, I take my earphones and place it in my ears and play, "my strange addiction by Billie Eilish" Close my eyes yet to another long nap.

...

I hear a laugh, followed by Justin saying, "Why does she sleep all the time?"
Then I hear Ethan say, "I know right lil kid, she kind of slept through the entire journey!"

I open my eyes slowly when I see Justin hit Ethan's hand and say, "I am not a kid ok!" Then walks off.

I smile at their interaction and get up to see Jacob to be nowhere. I get off the car, that when I look around. The place literally looked breathtaking. It was all green and beautiful.

I slowly walked up to a big lake. That's where I hear Jacob talk in his phone,

"Jasmine, it's not like that. That's all old story with Savannah. Do you get it?"
