Chapter 31 Happy?

"Did you see the new avengers trailer, damn I don't know what's happening?" I say.

Ethan shrugs and says "I know right, but Sav you have been talking for an hour straight about possible twists. Please lay off and let's wait for the movie shall we?"

I huff and cross my arms. Vanessa winces and says "Wrong move boy, apologise before..."

I get up and say "I have to go"

Ethan gets up and says "Hey, what no! You know I didn't mean like that right?"

I shake my head and say "I know, it's not about that. I just remembered I have calculus test next period. I gotta revise a little."

He smiles and says "Want some help?"

And wiggles his eyebrow.
And my thoughts go back to 2 weeks ago when he asked the same question and boy, we didn't study for sure.
And you know what we did. Cue the eye wink.

I shake my head and say "Nah not today darling. Gotta study. Bye"

I throw him a kiss, but he had other ideas and just twirled me and placed his lips on top of mine.

It was just a little peck, but it made me all giddy. I gave him a smile and wave to Vanessa. Who now opened her eyes and said "My poor virgin eyes."

I shake my head and go towards my locker.

I was taking my books from the locker and now was finding a place to learn.

I heard moaning and kissing sounds, from the nearby class. Shaking my head thinking it's some random horny couple. I was about to walk off when I heard someone moan and say "Yea..Savannah...!"

I heard a slap right after that and I heard a voice say "I am Jasmine, bitch!"

And I heard the door slam open and I see a angry and disoriented Jasmine come out. Thank all gods she didn't see me.
I walk towards the class room because I knew who was there in, but my sane side said me not too. And I start walking towards the library.

But I see the door open and Jacob comes out of it, he looked really out of shape. He was now sporting some beard and his grades are going low. And he had thick eye bags down his eyes.

I couldn't stop my legs and I was walking away from Jacob, but my head turned back, and let's just say.
I could hear my heart break into pieces.

The look that he had on his face, just wanted me to run towards him and hug the living day lights out of him.
But I stayed rooted, my legs weren't functioning.

I could sense him looking at me deeply as well. It was crushing me internally but I fought all my senses to not to turn back.
I could hear the bell ring and the students rushing and I turn back to see him, but I can see him slacking his shoulders and looking down and is walking away.

I knew I had to talk to him and it's really making me to look like a bitch. But I want to live a longer time in my oblivion trance.
Is it too much to ask for?

The test sucked it's not that I didn't  study and was thinking half of the time about Jacob.

But it's that Mrs.Moore hates us wholeheartedly and wanted us all to fail in this test. She is sick let me tell you that.
I was walking towards the gym, and I feel my phone vibrate.

I take it to see it's Ethan. I swipe it and I hear him say "Meet me in the car park in 20."

And the line dies.

Thinking it's one of his pranks and I shake my head and go to the gym.

30 minutes has passed and I can't see neither Vanessa or Ethan. I call back them and put  message as well.

Vanessa calls me back and says "Sorry guys I can't come with you guys, I have to be in the school. It's that stupid Mason, you know what I am rambling. You guys have some couple time plus it's just pathetic of me to be a third wheel. Ok Mason shut up I am going to rip off your hands if you touch me. Ok bye sweety have fun."
The line goes dead.

I wonder if I have a weird friend?

Nah I am the weirdest one.

I call back Ethan and he says "Oh my god I hate  my coach he just changed our plan and now wants us to practise twice a day for this next two weeks. You know right the big game is coming up and he is just drilling us to the max. I am sorry babe I will make it up to you. Ok I gotta go. Bye!"

Before I could say something the line goes off.I just sigh and think what the hell actually happened.

I walk towards the gym locker and take out my clothes and get into them. And I look myself in the mirror and notice how I have put on some fat, and that my thighs look huge and my stomach looks inflated and my arms look like they are going to burst out of the shirt.

I put on a hoodie and leave the zip open and go back to the gym.
I see the students going around the gym, there are some guys playing basketball. And there are some playing dodge ball and some are just running laps around the gym.

I see Jacob sitting in the corner and sulking and after he had his downfall moment, he literally came down the popularity ladder and is now alone and angry 24/7. He snaps at people unnecessarily.

That's the reason why my hands are trembling and I can hear him groan as I stand next to him.

He snaps and looks up having the most annoyed and angry face he can muster. I visibly shiver when he looks up.
I don't know if I did the right thing. But better late than sorry right.
