Chapter18 Old Mermories

Keri POV

"Keri I'm so sorry" i just shake my head 'no." i say his eyes are filling with tears 'w-what?" he says tears fall down my cheeks but i just sigh, 'we need a break Harry, I'm s-sorry" He looks broken his eyes are swollen and red "okay" he says his breathing is strangled by tears I nod as he leaves the room.

When the door shuts I fall into my pillow hysterically crying, only to hear Harry crying from downstairs, i need to stand my ground though even though it maybe hard i have to.

~The Next Day~

KeriPOV

I hear the doorbell ringing from downstairs I begin to get up but Liam already answered it "Keri!" he shouts i sigh throwing my robe on and grabbing my slippers. I see the five boys gathered at the door 'yeah?" i say they turn and clear room in runs a tall girl who looks like me.

Wait what 'who are you?" i ask 'I'm Kayla and I know this is going to sound crazy but-"

I cut her off 'your my sister'

She nods

She was a year older than me, Mom said she was a rebel she would throw plates and always be bad one time she beat up Harry. she was sent to live with my Aunt and uncle my aunt was the one who made me become friends with Harry. Kayla was never really spoken about and I only saw her at moms funereal why would she just show up now?

"I need to speak to you alone" she says pulling me away from the boys and outside slamming the door. "Aunt Kristy died yesterday i spoke to your father and he said you were living here by the way who answered the door he was hot"

It hits me hard. Aunt Kristy had told me 'go hang out with the cute boy next door you two can date one day and get married and live happily ever after" and i did and me and Harry became best friends. "His name is Liam' i say quietly 'and how did she die?" i ask dazing out 'she was at the bank working' she swallows and her tears fall 'she was robbed and was shot" she chokes out I hug her holding my sister tight. "I have to go but here is my number' she hands me paper 'why do you need to go?" I ask as she stands up "I need to go to work' she says i nod.

Her car pull away and I run inside and straight into Harry's arms.  "SHES DEAD!" i yell "gone!" i shout collapsing onto my knee's he goes down next to me and hugs me pulling me close my head on his chest his heart is fast but calming 'who's gone? he says "my aunt Kristy" he nods "its alright" he says "she told me to go hang out with you she said we would become best friends and that we would date and get married she told me to hang out with you' i wrap my arms around him crying into his shirt.

HarryPOV

'-She said we would get married she told me to hang out with you' shes soaking my shirt with tears, but i can understand why. She was the one who made me and Keri become Friends the one that told Keri to go hang out with the boy next-door. She was the one that took care of her sister what was her name Katlin,Kayla that's it Kayla the one who beat me up.  "Harry I'm sorry' she says when shes done crying "its fine i never should of kissed her" she holds me tighter and i rock her back and forth "i shouldn't of over reacted' she says 'its fine."

I reach into my back pocket and take out the small silver ring i carefully place it on her finger. She smiles up at me 'I love you'

Suddenly the door open revealing a scared Zayn.

"whats wrong?" i ask the pale boy

"he-hes back'

KeriPOV

"He-hes back" Zayn chokes out Harry's baffled but I'm not. Allen, he's back "He was bailed out' he says I'm stunned who on earth would do that they must be stupid 'y Ally." My heart stops and my blood runs cold "Ally Konson?" i say he nods.

The door swings open "never make me mad" Ally hisses.

'GET UPSTAIRS!!" yells Harry but I'm frozen "KERI NOW!!" Yells Zayn as Allen pulls out a gun and Ally a knife. I run but I'm forced down i fall my eyes stay shut I open them to find Ally a cold blade on my neck

"Arent so strong now are you?" she says I'm shaking as the blade slowly moves but it doesn't cut me shes teasing Harry with my life.

Suddenly I move and she almost falls "YOU MOVE AND HARRY DIES!!" Allen shouts anger cutting through his voice just like Allys blade on my skin. I'm frozen my eyes glance at Harry who's mouthing 'no' the gun aimed at his head he could die right now if I'm not smooth enough. She laughs and carves something into my arm i kick her and jump right in front of Harry diving basically. The gun booms and my eyes shut.

Pain searing through my leg as i pant to catch my breath my eyes wearily glance down at my leg which is soaking in blood around the small hole. Sirens go off and red and blue lights shine Ally and Allen run away keeping all the weapons and all evidence running away leaving Harry and Zayn to runs towards me 'don't close your eyes" Zayn says "don't go away" he says my eyes flickering closed.

HarryPOV

My hands lift up her head 'don't close your eyes" Zayn says 'don't go away" he says her eyes flicker open and shut "please babe' i say crying 'i love you' her eyes fall shut.She has given up her life basically for me she does everything for me. 

~8 hours later~

She's wheeled in asleep, she was put under for surgery she will be okay but it was coming really close, again Niall gave blood for her. But he said he didn't care as long as she was okay. I pull up the sleeve of her hospital gown carved into her arm is an 'H' H whats an H for- Harry. H is for Harry she was shot over me and now has my name carved into her arm and what do i do? i go out and kiss her ex best friend.

The door slams open and in runs Kayla 'is she okay?" she says panicked I nod 'Harry?" she says 'yeah hi Kayla" she hugs me 'hey' she says i smile 'you look different without the bloody nose i gave you' i roll my eyes 'i was 4 you were 5 and strong!" i say in my own defense. The guys are laughing and I see her eyes are focused on Liam 'why you looking at Liam" her cheeks turn red and her head snaps at me "see something you like?" i ask "well uh' she stammers "aw does Kayla like Liam?" she looks down at her shoes Liam smiles 'well if it means anything i like you too'  her head fly up 'really?' she says he nods 'yeah" she twirls her finger threw her hair 'thanks your really sweet" she says. I smile see I'm not capable of just bad things.

"my head' someone says I turn around its Keri. 'Why?" i say she squints 'huh?" she says "why would you get shot over me!? I'm a horrible person!" i shout she hugs me 'never say that Harry" i inhale her scent instead off smelling her beautiful floral scent i smell hospital and metal and blood. Louis walks in "we practically live here' he says 'KERI!!" he yells running towards her he hops onto the bed'oww" she yells sitting up in bed grabbing her leg can already see red liquid begin to fill up the once white bandage. In runs doctors and nurses who take her away and add in three more stitches.

Louis is in tears crying over what he just did. 'i never meant to Hazza!" he says "will she forgive me?' he asks "Louis calm down" i say rubbing his head as he sobs into my shoulder. Shes wheeled back in "whats wrong with Louis?' she says His head pips up 'oh my gosh Keri i am so sorry in ever eat to hurt you are you okay? she cracks up 'yes Lou I'm fine" He smiles 'friends?" she smiles 'friends."
