A New Game

I waked in to talk to Branden and he was crying. I asked what was wrong he said,"That he did something wrong in the games. They killed his only living family member, his Godmother Prilla."

He said,"She was the only one who cared about me. She is also the only reason I'm even a capitol resident."

I asked,"Why is that."

He said,"My mom and Dad lived in District 12. In a mining accident my father was lost. My mom was lost as well because are home was right next to the mine. I had no other family so I was taken by my Godmother Prilla. She raised me but I wished I was in 12, where i belonged."

I looked at him and said,"My father was lost in the same one."

He replied to me,"I'm sorry."

I said,"Me too."

He leaned in close and asked,"Will you go out with me."

I said,"Yes."

He kissed me on the lips. It felt better then any kiss with Peeta or Gale. I knew why, he was my soul mate.
