Sum Bonding Time

  Mid afternoon was approaching, which meant that it was almost time for the boys to get off work. In the past, Yoongi would have worked over time trying to perfect his music, but now that Hoseok was here, the elder was getting off work earlier to spend time with him. Bang PD also noticed that, and was happy that Hoseok was able to get Yoongi out of his studio. He didn't want one of his best producers living such an unhealthy life indoors. 

  For Yoongi, it was time to get the next part of his plan into action. 

  His wiped his hands on his jeans self consciously, before turning to Hoseok. The younger now had his face hunched down to a notebook, and tapped his pen on the table a few times before furiously scribbling something down. It strangely reminded Yoongi of himself. 

  "Hey Hoseok, do you want to go see this new horror movie that just came out?" 

  Yes, it was the cliche bring-your-crush-to-a-horror-movie-so-that-they-cuddle-you-when-they're-scared plan. 

  Hoseok gave Yoongi an awkward smile. "Maybe we could go some other day hyung, I have to... walk my sofa?" 

  Yoongi giggled. "It's okay if you're scared. Hyung will be there to protect you." 

  Hoseok smiled, feeling warm. If it were any other person, he would have laughed and called them weird, but he liked it when Yoongi said stuff like that. "Sure then, as long as you don't mind me screaming at every scary part." 

  Yoongi flashed Hoseok a gummy smile, before saving his stuff and turning the computer off. "Let's go then. I think it starts in forty-five minutes, so we can have a small snack before watching the movie." 

  Hoseok hummed. "Sounds good. I won't be scared if you're by my side!"

  A warmth bloomed in Yoongi's chest.

  "SHIT FUCKING WANK FUCK!!!" Hoseok cried out, cringing violently into Yoongi's side. His nails were digging into Yoongi's arm, and the younger made a mental note to apologise for the crescent shaped dents he knew would have formed. 

  "HOSEOK I'M SCARED TOO!" Yoongi wheezed. He realised that his plan was about to backfire after getting scared by the first jump scare in the movie. Why did you think this was a good idea!? You hate horror movies too you idiot! Yoongi had one arm around Hoseok's shoulder, and Hoseok was resting his head on his, but Yoongi was too busy waiting for the next jump scare to notice.  The only thing he could hear was the thumping of his own heart, and some small part of him wondered if Hoseok could hear it too. He wouldn't be surprised. 

  Little did Yoongi know, Hoseok could actually hear his heartbeat. Despite being smothered in tons of hair and a beanie, Hoseok's cat ears were picking up Yoongi's heartbeat. It wasn't very loud, but it was enough. 

  Yoongi Hyung is scared too...

  Hoseok, despite being scared too, wrapped an arm around Yoongi's shoulder, pausing there to see if Yoongi would react negatively. Hoseok looked at the elder, and stifled a laugh at the sight of a scared Yoongi. Well he definitely needs this. Hoseok leaned his head against Yoongi's shoulder, and with the hand that wasn't around Yoongi's shoulder, he grabbed Yoongi's hand, and began stroking the back of it. Hoseok was alarmed when he faintly heard Yoongi's heartbeat speed up, before slowing down. Yoongi's fingered squeezed Hoseok's a little, and the hybrids cheeks lit up. He snuggled even closer into Yoongi's shoulder, and the two stayed like that for the rest of the movie.

"That was so intense," Yoongi whined, looking down at the coffee table. "I literally had my third eye open waiting for a jump scare to happen. And the moment I decide it's safe, something happens!"

  Hoseok laughed. 

  "Good thing you were there, otherwise I think I would have actually shit my pants."

  At this, Hoseok blushed, and after a few seconds, Yoongi realised what he said and hid his face by drinking some coffee that they bought after getting out of the cinema. Was that too cheesy? 

  Hoseok, after hearing what Yoongi said, decided to man up and say something too. "Actually... you're kinda cute."

  Right after that, his face flushed completely red down to his neck, and he choked down mouthfuls of coffee to hide how flustered he was. Yoongi started coughing into his hands, his face burning up too. 

  "I could say the same for you," Yoongi mumbled, but Hoseok's super hearing caught it, and he tried his best not to scream out of joy.

  "I swear to Bang Shihyuk, just date already!" Namjoon hissed, watching the Sope duo blush at each other's comments. 

  "Are those two the hopeless romantics you were talking about earlier?" A soft voice from across Namjoon asked. 

  "Yup," The rapper sighed.

  "Just give them some time, bear," Jimin said, reaching over and pinching Namjoons cheek. "They'll come to eventually."

  "I sure hope they do. I mean I know for sure that Yoongi likes the boy, and judging by how they're both acting now, I'm pretty sure they're both smitten for each other." 

  Jimin giggled. "They're good together." 

  Namjoon nodded, resting his chin on his palm. Yoongi and Hoseok reminded him of himself in the past. He remembered how he and Jimin used to dance around each other, always flirting, then leaving, but never really stopping for a real conversation. He used to think Jimin was a fuck boy back then. In reality, he was just a cocky virgin, who was actually really adorable and squishy when you took the time to get to know him. Namjoon would forever be grateful of the day his old boss had forced him and Jimin to work the same shift at that cafe. 

  "Joonie~" Jimin sang. "I have a plan for them~" Namjoon looked into Jimin's eyes and gulped. He could already see the malicious plans that were forming, and the dignity-free future that lay ahead of Hoseok and Yoongi. 

  Good luck hyungs, Namjoon thought. Nobody escapes Jimin's wrath.
