Roni pov

English class began and I already was dreading it. Not only did Spencer glare at me with a mischievous smile at times, but he had to keep whispering to his friends about me. I am definitely not going to be one of those girls that he thinks he can get with. I'm just going to ignore him and pretend that he doesn't exist. I don't want to waste anymore words on him.

Mr. Ronalds: Hello class! As you can probably tell, I'm Mr. Ronalds. Or shall i say all of your next favorite teacher.....no...no laughs. Not even a grunt.

I laughed in my head

Mr. R: Wow. Lighten up people. You guys act like your zombies forced to be in this class right now.

???: We are forced to be here, you moron!

The whole class chuckled at the kid's remarks.

Mr. R: There it is! The classic "too cool for school" kid in the back. I was waiting for a young delinquent like yourself to make snotty comment that only proves your lack of ability to sense this astonishing noun you kids use quite a lot called "sarcasm".

The whole class: oooooooooh

I just sat here, enjoying the live theater. I like my teacher. He knows how to handle teenagers.

Mr. R: Okay. I am here in this class for a reason other than embarrassing you guys. I'm not here to teach you English. I'm here to teach you the art of it. The reasoning behind the strategically placed words on a piece of paper. And hopefully, i can teach you how to organize those words yourself to make your own art. BUT, we can't do that without getting to know each other first. Because it is the first day, we will take it easy. First task: everyone stand up, move you desks to the side of the room, grab your chairs and sit in a circle.

This was interesting. I felt like we were back in elementary school. I could sense that my classmates felt the same way because i heard groaning coming from all sides of the room.

I pushed my desk to the side, and i brought my chair up to form the beginnings to what is supposed to be a circle. I didn't know who to sit beside because i don't have any of my close friends from class. So, i guess this would be a great time to make one. Just as i was thinking that, a chair and a girl pulled up beside me.

???: Hey! I'm Sydney!

Roni: Hey! I'm Veronica, but you can call me Roni. Are you new here? I've never seen your face before.

Sydney: Nice to meet you roni. And Yeah, i just moved here with my family. This is a huge school. Wayy bigger than my old high school back in Florida.

Roni: You're from florida. What made you move here?

Sydney: My dad got offered a higher position at his job, so he took it and and--voila! I'm here.

Roni: Ohhhh. you know, don't worry. This is a great school. Trust me. You'll like it here.

Just as Sydney was about to respond, it seems that the class is now in a full circle, and Mr. Ronalds began speaking.

Mr. R: So, students. We are going to go around in a circle. And, no we are not going to tell each other our favorite color or what we do on a Saturday night---

Spencer: Trust me, you don't want to know what I do on a Saturday night...if you know what i mean.

He said while high fiving his friends....disgusting.

Mr. R: Save it for your turn young man. And if i were your friends, i wouldn't want to be touching his right hand.

This teacher deserves an award.
