Aaron Pov

After the party I went into Alex's room to check on him. He was already sleeping and Fousey was sleeping on the floor next to Alex's bed. I went into Mariah's and Andrew's room and they were both sleeping as well...thankfully. I changed my clothes and headed off to bed. As my head hits my pillow, the sudden thought came into my head..."what the hell am I going to do?". I shook the thought away because I needed a good nights sleep for the game tomorrow. It's our first game, so we need to put out a good first impression, we need to show the other teams something to be scared of.

Morning

???: Aaron!!? AARRRONNNN!

Aaron: Huh...what?

Fousey: Aaron!! Get up! You have a big game today!!

Aaron: UGhhhh! What time is it?

Fousey: 10. You have an hour and 15 minutes before we have to leave.

Aaron: More than enough time.

Fousey: I think you're forgetting that you need to get Mariah and Andrew ready anddddd....the really depressed baby.

Aaron: Oh shoot. Oh yeah. How's Alex?

Fousey: In bed. Don't worry about that right now. Just get ready.

Fousey leaves my room and I go into the bathroom. I take a shower to wake myself up and try to hide the fact that I had a horrible night. I need to be ready. I'm the captain. I can't slack now. I put on "West Lake Basketball (High school name)" gear...home of the Vikings. I pack all of my basketball things: Jersey, shorts, bball shoes, water bottle and my lucky headband. A headband I wear at all my games, no matter what. I'd rather wear my headband than my basketball shoes.

I walk downstairs and, surprisingly, Mariah and Andrew are already awake.

Mariah: Look who it is. Mr. Captain.

Andrew: Captain! Captain!

Aaron: Don't call me that.

Mariah: Oh come on, big brother. We're proud.

I didn't want any arguing today, so I obliged.

Aaron: Thank you. Where's Alex?

Mariah: Upstairs. Fousey is trying to get him up. Why is he being so lazy today?

Aaron: Oh..umm...long night.

Mariah: Is that code for "Hungover"

Aaron: Sure, just don't tell Andrew what that means. I say while taking a seat and eating cereal.

Andrew: What? I heard my name.

Mariah: Nothing, my young innocent child.

I chuckle at Mariah's cheeky personality.

Fousey: Aaron, Alex isn't coming to your game.

Aaron: What? Really?

Mariah: Wow, he never misses your games. What did you guys do last night?

Fousey: N-nothing. Nothing that you need to know, alright.

Aaron: I'll go and talk to him.

I head up the stairs and walk into Alex's room to see him under his covers.

Aaron: Alex?
