I Shouldn't Feel This Way

Chapter 36// Evan Plankoe

10 days until the camping trip

Nessa pov

Roni, Bobby and I arrive at Fousey's, and everyone's car is already here.

Bobby: Looks like we're a little late to the party.

Franny: Or everyone else went past the speeding limit.

Roni: I've never seen any of our friends so eager to do....homework...Roni shudders at the thought

Nessa: We better get started!

We walk in and, surprisingly, everyone is getting down and dirty with their homework. paper here; paper there. Everyone who usually wears contacts are wearing their glasses because we all know that contacts can sometimes get irritating after your eyes have been doing a lot of straining work. I already have my glasses on, but I look and see Roni pulling her glasses out. 

Roni: Well...good luck to all of us.

Time Skip (3 hours later)

David: Ughh, we've been doing this for so longgg

Franny: Dude, this is for you. C'mon we got this.

Sydney: My brain is fried...like I can't even think anymore.

Fousey: Did everyone get a lot done? 'Cause I for sure could use a break right about now.

Everyone: Agreed.

Almost simultaneously we all dropped what we were working on and let ourselves sit and rest for a few minutes.

Bobby: I need a soda. You need anything, baby?

Nessa: Some juice would be nice. I said with a smile

Bobby: One juice comin' right up!

Franny: I wish I had a boyfriend to get me juice.

Bobby: Aw, Franny. I have more than enough time to get you juice as well.

Franny: not the same...but yes pleaseee.

I laughed at Franny, but it ended when I felt Roni get up off the couch.

Nessa: Where you going?

Roni: I'm going to call Aaron and see if he's going to stop by or not.

Roni walks off and I notice that I have a smile on my face whenever it's relating to Roni and Aaron. Yeah, I'm the type to push my sister into getting herself out there...and by "out there" I mean with boys, but this is different. Their chemistry is unlike any other. I know I can trust him with my sister because of how he treats everyone...I don't know...I just have a feeling that if--I mean when they get together, it's going to be really really good for Roni. 

Bobby: One juice as ordered. 

Nessa: Thank you :) I said as I kissed him on the cheek and placed  my hand on his leg.

Roni didn't drift too far away, so everyone can hear what she's saying.

Roni: Really?? Are you sure?

Kian: What's he saying Roni?

Roni: He's saying that he can't come 'cause no one can watch Drew and Mariah. She says as she pulls her phone away from her mouth

David: Tell him that I really don't get my science terms...no one really knows how to help me here and I really need his help!!

Roni hesitantly tells Aaron what David said. I feel bad because it's not Aaron's choice whether he wanted to come or not, but David's telling the truth. His teacher decided to teach really hard material to try it out. Aaron is the only one in our friend group who's talking AP Biology classes, so he's the only one who could really help him.
