And accessorized with with jewelry. I tied my hair into two french braids, then swiped on some mascara and lipgloss. The doorbell rang, causing Luffy to bark. Both of my cats jolted under my bed. "Melissa, can you grab that?" I shouted from my room. I quickly ran to the bathroom to snap a selfie.

Me: 1st football game! I miss getting ready with you Kiki!
Kiana: Me too. Have fun & be safe!

I made my way out to the living room to find Lucas rubbing Luffy's belly. "Who's a good boy? YOU'RE THE GOOD BOY!" he cooed. I chuckled, and he looked up at me. "Just so you know, I'm stealing your dog" he said, kissing my german shepard's head. I laughed, flinging myself over Luffy. "Oh no you don't! He's mine!"

"You two look quite fashionable for a football game" Melissa said from behind me. I shrugged "Well we're going out after"

"Going out where?"

Lucas and I exchanged glances. "There's a uh...party after the game"

"A party?"

"Yup" I said sweetly.

Her face was blank, I couldn't tell what she was thinking. It was kind of worrying me. She finally sighed and said, "Well alright I guess, but be safe. And be back by 2am."

"Of course, thanks Mel!" I exclaimed. She hugged me, then whistled for Luffy so we could slip out the door. "Have fun guys! Nice meeting you Lucas!"

"You too, Melissa!" he shouted over his shoulder.

We got into Lucas's car and he drove us to the school. "Your sister seems nice" he said, pulling into a parking spot.

"Yeah" I nodded "She really saved my ass." I felt Lucas give me the side eye with that comment, so I got out of the car before he could comment.

We made our way up the stands and into to the student section. We got seats in the fourth row, right in view of the cheerleaders. I scanned around for the my redhead friend... there!

"Rylee!!!!" Lucas and I whooped. She looked up, finding us amongst the crowd of students. She waved her arms around, laughing. "Hey guys!" she shouted. Two girls standing next to Rylee backed away from her failing arms. One of them, a brunette, looked up at Lucas and I, rolling her eyes. Nice to see you too, Payton.

A while later the game finally started. The students turned into wild animals when the players ran out onto the field.

To start off the first quarter, we kicked the ball to the other team. Our defensive line made their way onto the field, and the play's began. Our defensive line absolutely killed it; the other team was only able to make it to the 40-yard line on their side by 4th down.
